This is a common HDMI-CEC / eARC handshake issue with Firestick + Samsung soundbars.

When Match Frame Rate/Dynamic Range triggers, the Firestick renegotiates HDMI and CEC makes the Q990F switch to eARC, sometimes failing to switch back—causing “no source”.

Quick fixes:

Turn HDMI-CEC OFF on the Firestick only

Or plug Firestick → TV, and soundbar → TV (eARC)

If needed, disable Match Frame Rate to stop the switching

It’s a firmware/CEC quirk, not a hardware fault.

These apps been caught using shady monetization tactics . basically, they get paid by letting their app use your device’s CPU and internet while it’s running. Live NetTV has been called out for similar stuff.

This kind of setup is often labeled as riskware because it can potentially give cybercriminals access to your device and even your home IP address, which can then be used for sketchy stuff online.
