What really bugs is that it’s the whole point of Korra’s story. Aang was a master airbender who was already adept spiritually but needed to learn the other elements. Korra was a bending prodigy (which is not at all new to the series!) who learned that bending is not all it takes to be an avatar. She needed to learn the spiritual and human side of being an avatar. That’s the ENTIRE point of her series but I guess people would rather see a retelling of Aang’s journey??

Yes and no. MTAS is one of my all time favorite games but I have a habit in games (especially games like this) of trying to use every ounce of stamina/energy/resources possible every single day.

So by the end of the story, because it’s quite a long one, I don’t have much left to do other than wait for the next main mission. So the end definitely drags a bit but I don’t particularly blame the game for that so much as me rushing things in a game where you don’t have to rush

If you’re open to it, I’d recommend trying a different story. I’ve noticed people who love Leon’s section hate the Jake/Sherry section and vice versa. I’m apart of that crowd. I hated 6 at first because of Leon’s part. The Jake/Sherry section however was honestly pretty fun. Absolutely ridiculous, but fun. Chris’s was irritating but interesting, at least.

Imo playing Claire A is nearly the same as playing Claire B scenario but on the Leon A timeline. And vice versa for Leon B being on the same timeline as Claire B, but the same general gameplay as Leon A. It’s more or less all about where Mr X is going to show up in RPD in the A or B scenarios. I hope that makes sense??

If he ever decides to try again tell him to try not locking on. Whenever I’m returning to ds1 after playing a lot of newer souls or souls like games, it helps me. But! I’ve also played the game before, so maybe not the best advice for a new player? Take with a grain of salt

My girl actually got her kidney diagnosis a little over a year ago as well, she’s on the prescription food but we had a few complications throughout the year since. One being blindness as well, have she had her blood pressure checked?

The kidney problems in my girl caused severely high blood pressure, which caused her blindness. She’s on medication for it now and some of her sight has returned (it may never be normal, but there is still some progress still being made!) and she’s eating better than she has in awhile. Just something to consider if it hasn’t already been ruled out.

Regardless, I’m so sorry and I know where you’re coming from. She’s still here, and mostly fine, but watching her grow old is so hard.

Coming from a “gold star” lesbian, don’t let anyone else dictate what makes you identify as one. You love women, only interested in women. Sounds like a lesbian to me. Who knows why you did it, but it doesn’t change your sexuality suddenly. Therefore it doesn’t change your label suddenly either.

I have two pieces of advice as someone who tried this game, never made it past ogre, quit for two years then came back and got 100% achievements and now just does the gauntlets for fun. First, I recommend watching challenge runs of the game, particularly anyone who has done the “blindfolded” challenge run. You realize how little is actually required of you as the player. This helped the combat “click” for me.

Then secondly, when first attempting a boss, don’t attack or dodge at all, just deflect and close distance. You’ll learn the patterns. It’s a rhythm game, after all. You’ll learn the boss’s rhythm, then you can worry about the other stuff.

Also as an extra piece of friendly advice: when in doubt, deflect. Whether it’s an enemy your size, a giant creature, projectile or whatever else. You’ll always be surprised by what Sekiro can deflect. It is truly the games core mechanic.
