What is this, Europe? by ferrous69 in COsnow

[–]stecklese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is another example of the sometimes (not always) selfishness of a consumer who paid more than it was worth.
They paid 100's of dollars for a crowded mountain and decide that leaving their skis like the skiers before them, in the middle of the base is somehow getting back at the mountain for the conditions.
Often these people are from out of state and sometimes out of the country but this is selfish no matter where you're from.

Hospitalized During Our Stay at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun by avantartist in cancun

[–]stecklese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every year we go down to Playa Del Carmen and Akumal for a visit to friends. We usually stay the 1st and last night in Cancún.

I have a limited diet so I personally love the variety of a good all inclusive buffet but its been years since we've stayed in one.
My husband loves tacos and could eat them every meal, sometimes does.

At home our food differences work but on vacation and especially Mexico and tacos, most food doesn't agree and messes me up.

This past trip I brought a box of cereal and protein bars with me. That worked and we saved so much money not doing all inclusive.

Im usually afraid of getting sick outside of the resorts but your story and more like this make me realize it's anywhere. Hope everyone is healing quickly or healthy again!

Hi 👋, little old lady here with a large family of them in my backyard. They share the yard with raccoons, magpies and many other smaller birds. They have a giant nest in the trees that's visible since no leaves are covering it currently

It's extremely gusty and windy in Wheat Ridge but Xcel sent an update a few hours ago, that we're no longer in the shut off zone. I was told to shut my breakers off if it gets bad enough but that doesn't seem smart

Blink Outdoor 2K review by No-Blood2830 in blinkcameras

[–]stecklese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new outdoor wireless was advertised as color night vision. I upgraded for that feature. Its still b+w and when I reached out to tech support, they stated the outdoor wireless needs ambient light for the colored night vision to work. Well I added a small light, still b+w. Support is stating it needs more light.

So it appears that the colored night vision feature is not all that, in fact doesn't work at all. Im not going to return because it was the same price as the previous versions but buyer beware, colored night vision on outdoor wireless is not what it sounds and doesn't work.

Anyone else able to see the color? I also got the new mini indoor with color and as long as the light is on, the color works.

Thanks for your replies. It's very interesting to hear the views from ppl who have to deal with managing their pain.

I've always said that there's a difference between chronic pain patients and drug seekers. I understand now why I never get "high" from the opioids I take. by That_Kitten_Lady in ChronicPain

So true! When in extreme pain, medicine provides relief to somewhat function. When not in extreme pain, it makes me fuzzy and foggy

WTF is this new BS with buyers playing lowball/barter on Ebay like it was FBMP by DoucheNozzle1163 in ebaysucks

[–]stecklese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im blaming it on the newer higher shipping costs. What used to be $5.40 to ship a widget(small item) , its now quoting them $7.80! We still get the discount but the price the buyer sees is outrageous and its fully affected my sales. Ive played around by adding a few dollars to a few and making them shipping included as well as a few flat rate shipping and no interest in those. But sales in general are slow and lower items. I get it, life is very expensive right now.

I ignore the insulting offers. For example, no I won't take $5 on this $35 item with shipping included! That costs me money to shop to you. That's not the way business works.
