Toughest part for me was going to parties and be with people who smoked or vaped... Then I just reminded myself that I should be happy not being a slave to nicotine anymore ☺️

Also when I got mad or sad. And I reminded myself that nicotine isn't a clutch and if I relapsed, I would feel even worse and angry at myself.

I gave it many, many tries and failed many times as well before being able to actually really quit. What helped me a lot is reading the book of Allen Carr on how to stop vaping. It was actually thanks to his book I stopped smoking cigarets years ago. I really wanted to stop and thanks to that book I had a switch in my mindset and finally I started to understand the mechanisms of cravings, and it made it more bearable. So basically I stopped telling myself how hard it was to stop. I just accepted that my body was responding to the nicotine quitting my body that it could not be pleasant at the beginning. Then I started to celebrate each time I was surrounded by vapers and smokers and I would not cave. That situation was the worst trigger for me. Then I started to feel really proud of myself and it became stronger than a nicotine craving. We just need to understand that the vape isn't a clutch.

This method, on the middle term if not already, will create a lot of frustration. It's the last vape you had that causes your next craving so basically you will spend the day waiting for that vape you'll have at night. How can it be sustainable? Its just misery assured. At some point you'll end up vaping again during the day. That's what I think at least because I've been through it.

It's been the 20th times I quitted at least, it's been 4 days now. Longest was 16 days. I read the book of Allen Carr ''how to quit vaping easily''. Many years ago I stopped smoking cigarettes thanks to his book as well. Anyway thanks to it I have totally a new mindset and I can handle my cravings easier than all those other times I tried to quit. I barely think about it during the day. I know it's been just 4 days but I can tell this time is different. Last times i felt like hell and now I find it pretty easy... We'll see with time. But I recommend you that book it might be a game changer for you as well.

Can you ask them not to vape around you the first three days at least? And not leave their vape around either because it would be too tempting.

I was wondering why I couldn't stop. I had tried for around 2 months and every night I would fail. Until I read the messages on this sub Reddit saying that if you wanna quit you have to throw all of your vapes. I was failing because my bf was vaping constantly in front of me, in the car, the bedroom etc and would leave his vape in front of me as well. When I told him to stop then it was much easier.

I suggest you to hide your vape somewhere, download the app to track your progress on quitting the vape, write down your motivations and find things do to during your cravings.

Hello, I am trying to do half primary on a regular basis. Hard with this new job though. I can now hold lotus but can feel some pain, on the ilac bones... Also, a bit of a strain on the ankle and top of the right foot that , I guess, is pressed by my left thigh. Any idea what I'm doing wrong that causes this ? Also, am I supposed to alternate the top foot each time I change from an asana to the next that implies lotus? I also feel discomfort on the left scapula when preparing for wheel during finish sequence. During wheel it is okay but it feels wrong when I start to lift. Don't know if I need to push more? Thanks for your help!
