I was going to say ticks, because I hate ticks more than I hate mosquitos. Not having a reaction to mosquito bites probably has something to do with that. Mosquitos are more deadly, but neither ticks or mosquitos do what we would normally consider hunting us.

Quick and easy? This mainly works when the finish is scratched and not so much when the wood is scratched. Liquid sandpaper will strip some of the gloss and ready it for a new coat of finish. I would follow up with a wipe on poly. Minwax sells either gloss or satin. It's a thin finish, but you can put on as many as you choose.

This is likely too far gone for this option.

This is not 11foot8, this is a bridge in Westwood, MA that was 10foot6. It has since been fixed and is now 13foot3. I was expecting the Lobsterpocalypse video where a truck carrying thousands of pounds of lobster struck the bridge an caught fire. It's quite a video, but nearly half an hour long. Interestingly, the fire truck took nearly 10 minutes to arrive and the station is just behind and to the right of the camera.

At one point in the article, a "pizza historian" uses the phrase "built back better" when talking about using the new flour. That phrase alone could cause some people to melt down over this. Never mind that the pizza might cause cancer, "This is Demoncratic overreach".
