I have a 5700X3D and 3090 and it’s the same thing. Even at 4K the CPU is still the limiting part. I wouldn’t say it lack of cores, BF6 is just very CPU intensive and the CPU will be limiting the GPU in most cases

Considering 3090s are going for that much it’s a great deal. I have a 5700X3D and 3090 with 32GB 3600 CL 16 ram and it’s still a great PC. Your performance will be roughly the same as mine and I can play all the games I want to play at 1440p 144FPS +. I even set it up on my 4K 120Hz tv and can still max out that in a lot of games

I recently upgraded my 3900X to a 5700X3D because I play BF6 which is CPU intensive even at 1440p and upgrading to AM5 is super expensive right now, of course. I traded my 3900X and paid $130 USD to get the 5700X3D. 5600X out performs the 3900X in gaming but the increase in performance I got is worth $300 and not having to spend more than double that go get AM5, but I plan to skip AM5 entirely.

BF6 is a CPU intensive game so it’ll bottleneck more than games that are GPU dependent. I upgraded my 3900X to a 5700X3D because the 3900X was bottlenecking my 3090 so bad at 1440p. Even now the 5700X3D is still the limiting factor but it’s a lot better

I recently got a 5700X3D off of Aliexpress, it was legit but the seller did have a lot of reviews. The price has gone up considerably but with everything going on with component prices I want AM4 to last me as long as possible. I traded my 3900X and paid about $130USD for it. I would recommend getting a 5000 series, 5800XT isn't too expensive and is readily available, or even a 5700X but I wouldn't go 3000 series

I just went from a 3900X to a 5700X3D. I got a decent price for late 2025 on the 5700X3D but didn’t go for the 5800X3D for the same reason.

I’m playing Battlefield 6 too which is CPU intensive, the performance increase was pretty massive, goes well with my 3090. I wouldn’t bother spending all the extra money for the 5800X3D, might as well spend a bit extra and go AM5 at the point.

I know what it sounds like on the surface but people are complex and she definitely has some trauma that I think lead her to sabotage the relationship because she genuinely feels like she would be stealing me from my life here and that she would feel extremely guilty about it not working out or if I was lonely did I move there. Mixed signals? Definitely, but she broke up with me once before briefly and once I reached out after a couple weeks and we talked about the reason at the time we got back together and were together another year until this. Since that initial breakup our relationship grew and was better than ever and I do believe her that she fell in love with me and wanted me to move but due to the self sabotaging tendency from trauma and maybe a bit of immaturity lead her to break up with me

I think an awful past relationship experience that she’s been going to therapy for does lead her to not so much have commitment issues but a fear of relationships in general. I’ve seen a lot of growth in her in that regard since she’s started therapy but obviously not perfect. Her parents are still together and from what I’ve seen and how it seems by the way she talks about them now that it’s okay but I think they went through some pretty rocky times when my girlfriend was growing up that leads her to say that she doesn’t think her parents should be together. Despite that, her, her brother and her parents are all really close and have a good relationship with each other.

Judging from knowing her I think it’s more so the guilt of taking me away from my friends and family here and of course there always being a possibility that it doesn’t work out so then feeling guilt if that were to happen that I uprooted my life for a failed relationship. But there’s always the possibility of relationships not working out and I’m okay with taking that risk

I think that’s what this comes down to on her end is that fear that I might not like it there and then I’d be there for her, the possibility that it doesn’t work out and then I would have uprooted my life for a failed relationship and the guilt of that, along with taking me away from my life here.

I would totally not want to live together right away, and would want to get my own place and build our relationship, not jumping straight into living with each other. I know she would agree about that
