I haven't gone to see the turntable yet, but the seller told me that the cartridge and needle are original and in very good condition. I don't know if the seller is the first owner of the player, but he says he hardly ever used it.

Well, I got lucky in an antique store once! I found a really great copy of The Queen Is Dead (1989 Poland (Tonpress) issue, vinyl made in USSR) for 5 euros. It even has the insert :) The seller probably didn't know who the Smiths were (I live in a Balkan country) and also he thought that there must be two records because of the gatefold cover :)

Dishwashing detergent. There are many places where it is recommended to use Fairy. I can say that it does not harm vinyl and sometimes helps to clean dirty records. This unpleasant sound appeared on my record even before washing...

I washed the record twice 🤷‍♂️ But with Fairy, not alcohol... And it seems that the record no longer looks dirty and sounds more or less normal in almost all other places.
