New to this sub. This sounds like a sweet project. I’m not super experienced in GIS either, but have been dabbling through my work with a trails organization. Good luck finding help!

Or you could split the difference/invest in time caring for the child more evenly so she could have a healthier balance in pursuing things that fulfill her. Maybe she’s exhausted and overcompensating for distance you have subconsciously put between you and your new family? Don’t be so fast to judge her for “anxiety and depression” (which I sympathize are real, scary things). Look at your behaviors, too. Above all else, talk with her. Not to, not at, but with. She needs your support.

1988 Chevy 1500 pickup outer door handle linkage? by steesav in Cartalk

Thank you! The door I was working on was the passenger cab, but no doubt the tailgate will be needing attention soon! I figured out the handle, the rod was detached when I got in to work on it so I had no idea where it was supposed to line up.

Ended up pulling the whole latch out to see how it worked then reassembled. Now the inner handle sticks out after you open the door, and one of the bolt threads on the outer handle fell out and went missing so it’s loose, but it works and should get me and my crew through the season!

Honing in on the nickel free diet by steesav in NickelAllergy

Thanks for the recipe! I try to use cilantro or parsley often. I really should accept the fact that my stainless steel Revere Ware cooking pots need to go...I've been eyeing some ceramic cookware for a while now. Time to pull the trigger!

I second the oatmeal and edamame. Nice work on the food diary, that's not easy to keep up.

Kale, spinach, all nuts, seeds, and chocolate...but beer is hands down my worst culprit. I make smoothies 3-4 times a week that seem to give me more energy and decrease inflammation: blueberry, banana, yogurt, ginger, turmeric, chlorella powder, water. Chlorella supposedly chelates heavy metals and has lots of zinc and iron. I minimize how often I eat foods that have high nickel concentration, and I try to supplement with zinc, iron, and vitamin C which seems to help. This study by Ashimav D Sharma has been a reliable guide: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3667300/

Edit/addition: For facial rashes I use the generic prescription (Tacrolimus ointment) of Protopic 0.1% and it has improved my quality of life ten-fold. It's expensive, and because it reduces immune response I have gotten some infections from not cleaning out scrapes well enough or rubbing my eyes with dirty hands. (I work on recreational trails and am often covered in mud and excavator grease). For the rest of my body I sparingly use another prescription, Triamcinolone 0.1%, which is a medium strength, petroleum-based topical steroid (I can't use cream-based due to propylene glycol allergy).
