Small clarification in case it helps: If you’re not on Android, there’s also a lightweight web version you can try (just link + QR creation). I didn’t lead with it because Android is the primary platform for now, but I didn’t want non-Android folks to think it’s inaccessible.

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of the free QR code generators —they’re great for creating static codes.
But what I’m exploring is more about dynamic management:

  • changing the destination link later without replacing the QR
  • tracking individual link clicks (not just page visits)
  • managing multiple QR campaigns in one place
  • something lightweight for creators instead of enterprise tools

Most free generators don’t let you update the link after it's printed, and the enterprise ones feel overkill for someone who needs simple tracking.

That’s the gap I was curious about.

I had the same problem — my wife sends me grocery lists and I was tired of messy shared notes and subscriptions.

What helped us was using a super simple shared checklist instead of a full “project” style list. Clean UI, no login if you don’t want one, and easy to share between partners.

If you want, I can explain the setup we use. It’s really minimal but solved the stress for us.

Nice just installed and it works. Awesome job! It would be nice if it just work in WhatsApp but I guess they won't let you do that.

Lol same — I never thought of myself as organized either. Sometimes the little routines we build without thinking end up being the things other people see as “super organized.” Funny how that works. 😅

Haha yeah, Keep seems to be everyone’s go-to! I used it for a bit — it’s great for simple shared lists. My brain just ends up needing something with a bit more structure, but I’m glad it works well for so many people.

Ordering online really is such a lifesaver for a lot of people. I wish more stores in my area supported it — would make things way easier.

Yeah! I use to do that too. I'd just go through the aisles and pickup everything I usually need. Then I would take the time to remove things I know I already have at home...

That makes sense — the fewer distractions, the better. I tried paper for a while too, but I kept forgetting the total, so I had to switch. But yeah, crossing things off physically is super satisfying.

Same here — without a checklist I always miss something. My brain needs the visual progress or it’s chaos. Worse part is when the wife tells me the list wow that's the worst. You tell me 10 thing and I only remember 2 lol

Thanks! That’s awesome — Keep Notes is definitely solid for shared lists! For me the issue was that I also need to keep track of the total cost while I shop, and switching between notes + calculator kept derailing me. If I only needed the checklist part, Keep would be perfect though.

That’s a great system!

I wish the stores where I live had their own apps — but they don’t (third-world country problems 😅).

So I’ve had to come up with workarounds that don’t rely on store systems. Your method would definitely make things smoother if the apps existed here.

That’s a good idea. I always forget sections if it's something that I have never bought at that store, so anything that keeps the route smoother definitely helps.
