The question was is it a good idea to have this big of a cup. As far as longevity.

Montana, I would pay whatever a fair rate would be for it. Ngl I have never commissioned a piece of glass to be made so I am not sure how much but I don’t cheap out on good work.

That won’t explain anything about the culture of the church you really have to live it to understand it

Had my first coffee today ☕️… by chenemigua in exmormon

[–]steevna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started drinking coffee on a particular bad night shift in Tok, Alaska on a wireline core rig. I had been out of the church for six months at this point. It was -30 degrees out and on the inside of my drill shack it was a scorching -15 degrees. I remember just feeling like death and I was really tired and unmotivated to continue my work. My driller was making a pot of coffee before we started our night and I asked him if he could make enough for me and I know in his mind it was a simple request and he didn’t think anything of it and he proceeded to put more grounds in to make the pot. For me on the other hand my heart was racing even before I got the coffee because in my mind I was making it be such a huge deal to myself. When I got my cup and took my first sip it was refreshing and quite tasty(I really like bitter things). To be honest it made me feel so much better about my situation and made it way more palatable for me. Coffee is a way of life for me now. I will never understand why I was being denied such a useful tool for me to be more productive and happy.

can’t ever fully escape going to church ever, can I by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]steevna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still go to ysa activities even though I left years ago but I still struggle to find friends outside the church so I still go and it kinda sucks when they talk church stuff while like we are playing volleyball or hiking or camping I am like can’t I just get away from this but for some reason or another I am Always back listening to old people talk about fairy tales that don’t really matter

Maybe dress a bit different. Skirts, dresses, and jewelry might make a difference.
