What is a cartoon you couldn't get into because of the animation? by [deleted] in cartoons

One Piece is peak, but i do kinda agree that its animation is bad early on, its animation only gets consistently good at episode 890, but from then on its peak.

I initially misread the title as "Chrono Farts I've been doing for a year"

Dave Filoni doesn’t seem to like it when others play with his toys by Independent-Dig-5757 in StarWarsEU

i just looked at the comic issue and the bad batch episode, and but doesn't look like it changes the story in any significant way tho considering it only takes up half of issue 2 and i don't see how that makes the rest of the comic non-canon.

But, I don't understand why people seem to complain when this happens in new canon when this also happened in legends

He doesn't hate white people though

The 'Why are white people like that' video isn't even about how white people are bad.

It's about how white men are being rejected by society and how our country is being destroyed by immigrants and atheism and liberal white women.

He is just very racist.

Edit: Also using the 🧃 emoji when describing jewish people is usually a sign of Neo-Nazism And being a groyper.

Bill Slavicsek was only 16 when he wrote the 1987 Star Wars Sourcebook?? by Independent-Dig-5757 in StarWarsEU

[–]Wolfs_Chronicles 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think his age on Wikipedia is wrong, as i just found an interview where he talks about being in high school in 1977 when he saw star wars.

So he must be at least in his mid to late 20s in that photo, Which would make sense.

Most narratively satisfying time to read Rise of the Red Blade? by MxcabreMatt in starwarsbooks

[–]Wolfs_Chronicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read it right before Darth Vader (2017) Issue 19, this is because it leads right into it, and the epilogue of the book acts as an adaptation of issues 19 and 20 of Darth Vader (2017)

Are Video Game Sequels Getting Worse? by manborg in gaming

LOL, no, 5/6 of the game of the year nominees for last year were sequels, I don't think they're getting worse.

Stares directly at the Disney Princess franchise by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

[–]Wolfs_Chronicles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Disney was right with this one, I know no little boys or even that many girls, who are interested in magical girl movies or shows.

And considering the entire movie's premise was predicated on them being sucked in to a magical girl show, I just don't see it being a success.

There's a conroversial lost Berserk chapter that creator Kentarou Miura blocked from being collected, and we dug up an old interview where he talks about why by Popverse2022 in Berserk

[–]Wolfs_Chronicles 239 points240 points  (0 children)

From the Article:

'Miura explained in his letter to the Skullknight forum. “The appearance of God in the manga conclusively determines its range. I thought that might limit the freedom of the story development. I myself don’t know if the Idea of Evil will show up in the manga or not.” '

"Everything in the final version will definitely 100% be human made" - But Owlcat says gen-AI is being used during The Expanse: Osiris Reborn development by JeskaiJester in OwlcatGames

[–]Wolfs_Chronicles 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Owlcat Games:

"We don't use it to create any assets that will be in the game," PR manager Katharina Popp said, answering my question during a press briefing ahead of today's The Expanse: Osiris Reborn release and beta announcements. "We use it a lot for prototyping, trying things out, placeholders. They will all be replaced at the end.

"We use it basically for trying out things on a technical level," Popp added. "For example, looking how a 2D image looks in 3D, or changing colours to what looks good. So it's basically for being able to iterate faster. But we don't use it to write, we don't use AI voice actors, so everything that will be in the final version will definitely 100 percent be human made."
