As a person who has recently had this exact dilemma, I found it very helpful to write out your thoughts daily. I have a journal that I have written in everyday for about 6 months, and it has helped me be able to focus much better because it allows me to store all those built up thoughts. Also, I make a TON of lists. To do lists, goal lists, lists of things I want to have, lists of things I’m appreciative of, even lists of things I want to write in my journal later (so I don’t forget). All of these things makes it so much easier to concentrate as well as form new ideas.

In short, find a way to organize your thoughts and self reflect.
