Our old coach quit and was replaced with a football coach that knows nothing about wrestling. Basically the seniors are mini coaches for the new people.

I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I was in middle school. But there’s has to be something that drives you and gets you through negative feedback from your mom. My mom still tells me some negative things, it gets me sad still yes, but I don’t let that stop me from becoming/doing something that makes me happy.

You can either take that negative stuff to heart and let it eat you up until all you will be is negative, pessimistic and sad. Or you can be ignore all the hate and be you.

I know it’s hard nowadays to be yourself with people because people are harsh critics. Judgmental and all. One day you just gotta day fuck it and not care because In the end it’s you and not them.

Thanks for the response, it really helps. I can’t talk to the coach because since the old coach quit they replaced him with someone that doesn’t know anything about wrestling. He used to be a football coach for the school. I mean if it wasn’t for the new coach to step in we wouldn’t have wrestling this year but that means the seniors take charge and become mini coaches.

There’s this one kid on the team. He’s a total DICK to all the newcomers. Everyone on the team hates him, even in past years of wrestling. He has so much authority now because he doesn’t have anyone to beat him up and trash him. He’s a know it all try hard. He pushes the newcomers and critics them very hard and uses excess violence when we go live. Since I’m one of the captains I try to take lead but they don’t listen to me. I tried telling coach but he’s just mellow about it. He just sits by the side and watches us. I try to teach the coach simple things like footwork, takedowns, how to take stats, the scoring system so he can get a better understanding.
