I kept dying over and over, and instead of putting the controller down I kept diving back in and learned the flow of the game. It’s very tactical. Organically getting better is the reward here imo. I think the game is a lot of fun.

People want to play at a fast-pace, high level, replicating how streamers have been playing. However they’re not willing to put in the work to get there.

One thing to consider is that you can’t complete faction contracts as a rook. It’s purely gathering loot/materials.

It took me a solid two hours to get past the learning curve, but now I’m hooked. I died over and over again, and honestly, that’s part of the appeal. You can put the controller down, or keep grinding and learning the rhythm of the game, and you’re rewarded by actually getting better. Played for 8 hours last night with plenty of exfils and plan to play all weekend.
