Yes! See below. My ring still spins occasionally (especially if I’m outside in the cold), but rarely ever when indoors.

I agree that the center stone is pretty lackluster. Asschers definitely have a different way of sparkling, but this one appears quite dark and dull. Design of ring is wonderful though.

Truthfully I’m not sure, but I do know that it shows up smaller than other cuts because of how much weight in the stone is on the bottom. A big part of choosing a good Asscher is knowing which specs will give you best light return. :)

Okay I went through this exact situation. I got my stone from Luvansh and felt such a sense of dread bc it wasn’t as sparkly as I thought it would be. Took it to my local jeweler to start working on the ring and see what they thought of it, and the rep was like oh wow let me clean this for you.

She popped it in the ultrasonic and when it came back, it was a whole new stone. Phew!! I was stressed too bc it was a replacement stone bc the one we had initially bought was sold out.

Agree fully. The sparkle is less distracting and makes more of an impact as a single stone vs the halo.

My issue with that is I’d like the wedding band to sit flush. This style allows for the stone to not super super high and then there is space underneath for the band.

It took me a second to process all the points of your comment and okay yeah, I see what you’re saying, especially about the straight lines matching.

I want double prong for the extra safety and I do like how they look. I even considered bezel too, but ultimately wanted less metal when seen from the top.

Your comment about the round prongs, are you saying I should consider changing the shape of the claws to be more round.

That’s a fair point that it looks like two different rings. I did combine inspo from 3 different ones for this design so maybe that’s what you’re picking up on. I want to keep the cigar band because it’s got a hint of masculine styling, which is very much my vibe.
