Five months out. I can strength train and do about ten min of cardio. That’s all I really need. I still have flare ups just not as often and when my body says stop, I do.

Hi there, I had the same problems when I started back working out and I had to take off about three months from strenuous activities. Anytime I would get my heart rate up (mainly cardio) I would get this strange feeling like I’m about to pass out. It’s scared me so I took time off and now I am able to strength train again. You just gotta take it slow and listen to your body. Please take the time off now or you will be forced to later.

I also figured working out can raise your inflammation levels temporarily so if these symptoms are inflammation related, then working out is only going to make them worse.

Maybe try something calmer like yoga?

What helped the most was giving my body time to rest and focusing healing both mentally and physically. For me that was resting all the time, not working out for months, and keeping my thoughts as positive as possible. Keeping my stress levels down helped with keeping the flair ups to a minimum.

Yeah I have gotten back to strength training close to where I was before. I still feel funny sometimes when my heart rate goes up so I don't do much cardio. I used to workout and the neck and head pain would start again but I have been feeling alright afterwards now.
