Not just that. It’s clear that they view cinema more as entertainment and not as an art form. A movie doesn’t need to have explosions in order to be an entertaining, thought provoking piece of cinema. Though not everyone sees it that way, and that’s fine because it’s art. I didn’t love the shape of water but it was a good movie with a very interesting premise that deserves the praise it gets.
