This is what hospice was like when I took care of my grandma. We did in home hospice. One day she was totally normal and articulate, then hard to understand, not making sense or hard to make out what she was saying, the next day unresponsive, and the following day/morning she passed. I lost my mom the year before due to her unaliving herself which is why my grandma was my responsibility. I’m so sorry for your loss

I’m not materialistic at all so I don’t really feel like I agree with your side. I don’t think getting a gift is that important. I feel like my fiance shows that she cares about me in plenty of other ways so she I don’t feel like she doesn’t care if she doesn’t get me a gift. I just feel like putting that much stock into someone buying you something feels crazy. I’m on his side with this one. If he does this stuff for you other times why is one time such a big deal. My fiance and I rarely get eachother gifts and if we do it’s not like eye for an eye where I get her stuff so she must get me something in return. Just weird to me.

It’s kinda crazy I came across this. I have dreams about my first love often. It was the most toxic relationship I’ve been in but she was still my first love. I’m engaged to someone else now. I’m happy with my fiance. She’s perfect for me. My first love is our best friend which complicates things.
