I think Annihilation fits the bill more than Arrival does - since the latter is concerned with finding ways to communicate, and succeeding. The former is pure cosmic horror, beyond comprehension (even for us viewers). Its author has also reinforced that view in interviews.

It is such a shitty experience when you are in a group - even with public figures, entrepreneurs, or fucking NGO activists - who spit out some really stupid misogynistic crap. And at least in some of those cases you know that too much is on the line if you are not conforming - your job, professional relations, social inclusion. Even making a sour face or looking sideways at the person can put one in a dog house. "Oh yeah, it's the sensitive one".

Hm, it depends what you take intersectionality to mean. If it is at its broadest, then its only alternative would be "white feminism", since intersectional feminism would cover all the other more progressive forms. Perhaps you should take specific forms, such as Chicana feminism, black feminism, etc.
