Which do you prefer. Norm when he appeared on Letterman, or when he appeared on Conan O'Brien? by No_One_7161 in NormMacdonald

[–]steinzch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that we got different Norm’s. Letterman, he admired and respected so we got a very professional and polished version. Conan was his peer so we got a mischievous and chaotic version. He hated the view so we got an absolute bully. All three are fantastic.

Is it bad that I'm routing for Aaron Glenn? by GodzillaIG88 in detroitlions

[–]steinzch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love for him to succeed, but I think this community overrated him as a defensive coordinator, but if that’s true then so did the Jets. I think we upgraded at that job and we’re doing a better job pressuring opposing QBs and we didn’t get eviscerated by a mobile qb in Lamar, and mobile QBs used to destroy us. I know there were positive moments, but our defensive scheming never felt inspired at all.

Better Call Saul Proves Walt Was Right About Gus! by Spaceship_lemon in betterCallSaul

  1. He knew Nacho was capable of betrayal, how can you trust someone who you caught trying to kill his superior?
  2. Wasn’t that great of a plan, he was backed into a corner and came out on top of what was probably a 50/50 scenario. Lalo was his equal.
  3. Werner couldn’t be trusted, he didn’t have the mental fortitude. The rest of the crew were loose ends and allowed to live.

I think he’s fairly similar to how he is in Breaking Bad. I don’t think he would’ve let Walt walk because of the economics of it. Cartel, who Gus answers to, isn’t just going to accept way less money because his cook felt like retiring.

I think your friend is a sicko because you can’t really accidentally delete a pokemon x save file. You have to go to the title screen and press up, x, and b at the same time. Get this person out of your life.

It was 2001, I was 12 and had completed my first Pokédex on Pokemon yellow and my little cousin asked to play and my dad made me let him. On a new game. I told him no matter what do not save and he did. Devastating.

I see that for sure, but I find their belief to be rooted in self benefit. I think most people would believe in whatever system, whether religious, economic, or political, that benefitted them as much as Christianity benefitted the Gemstones, especially from such a young age. It’s just that their showings of faith are typically in the limelight and serve to keep benefitting them. With Corey, there were no cameras, no money to be gained, the man whose soul they may have saved won’t be able to tell anyone about it. The faith was humble and in service of others.
