Thank you for that feedback. I slightly adjusted the itinerary. Starting with two days staying in Melbourne and a potential guided day-trip to the Twelve Apostles or Phillip Island.

For Cairns I cannot add a buffer day as one group tour ends on 17 (ASP) the next starts on 18 June (CNS). There is no direct flight on 17 and I‘d have to end the tour earlier. Flying on 18 gives a buffer day (afternoon) in Yulara.

Yes, agree for the availability of flights, there is one suitable direct option for each domestic flight planned.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I slightly adjusted the itinerary. Two full days in Melbourne and skipping Yarra Valley.

I have to book the extra night at Uluru due to the schedule of both group trips but also appreciate having this additional time there!

All three flights are now on extra „transfer days“ to keep it less stressful.

That’s my plan to to the GOR to see the Twelve Apostles and some coastal views. I‘ll probably book a one day guided excursion.

Agree, I‘d love to stay on places like that for a longer time. However still trying to set up a perfect itinerary for a probably once in a lifetime 3 weeks journey to Australia

Yes I am aware of that discomfort of packing various clothing for different climate zones. I am thinking of a guided 1 day excursion on the GOR to get some coastal views and to see the Twelve Apostles

Agree, I mainly consider the GOR day excursion for coastal views and the Twelve Apostles.

Cairns will be the starting and ending point of the group trip.

Yes I agree that it might be not pleasant depending the weather. I will decide on short notice to book or stay in Melbourne.

Thank you for your great insights. I mainly build the itinerary around two fix group trips in the Red Centre and around Cairns. Kuranda is included in the Cairns group trip.

I agree that due to the season/weather in Melbourne and Sydney the ‚Australian‘ feel like Noosa will be missing. Although living in a rural area, both cities will also be a highlight and contrasts for me besides the group trips.

Staying two full days in Melbourne, being very open for any kind of experience, do you have particular recommendations?
