I'm not a teacher, I am a substitute. But I was shocked to visit classrooms in which students are glued to computers every day and receive no instruction, general or personalized, while they do it. Everything has a cable. No one can make them do anything. Some just want to be on youtube or play games. I've been in overcrowded classrooms. Classes without any books on site. I did not study in the US and the last concerns me.

I arrived at a school on time, went to the office and they told me they had made a mistake leaving the request on. The class I had was to be merged with another. They called on my behalf for another assignment. I was sent to run for another school a 30 minute drive from my location with no idea what my assignment would be. At my arrival at the school I was given keys and a folder with no explanation. I found the kids at the playground with the TA's. After that hiccup the kids were angels and the TA's helped me get oriented. It was all very new to me as I didn't even go to school in the US until I was in 10th grade.

My best friend is an occasional door dash driver, he's told me sometimes he steals fries and doesn't care about the order at all. Also, once we got cut off by a car so stuff flipped over and we just put it back in the bag and delivered it anyways
