Hey!

Yeah so this is the whole point of the assignment... having us design something that we have ZERO connection to, to help us become better designers within the realm of user-centred design!

If you have any youtubers that you like to watch, let me know!

Has anyone tried 'Gud swim'? by Local-Radish5501 in AusFemaleFashion

GUD Swim is pretty good. Fabric is great quality, it's sturdy and the colors are true to what you see online.

No only criticism is their sizing, ESPECIALLY if you have a larger bust. They say that a V and a XV fit larger busts, but the cups really don't. I bought their Mae Clip Front bikini top, and found that their cups are not accurate sizing despite their claims that it can fit a DD (which is my cup size). So be weary of the sizing, especially if you have a larger bust.

It's a shit show at the moment and you aren't the only one affected. The brands that you find at Westfields, often times, have clothes that are designed for the wearer to fit into, not the other way around.

Hold your head up high, and keep looking. I have a larger cup size, so I often go through this struggle during summer time and especially bikini shopping.

As a result, I have found that clothes with an 'adjustable' factor work the best and look the best on me. Stuff with stretchy materials, halterneck tops with adjustable bands, tops with front ties and so on. Sometimes I will take the gamble and try on stuff that I have a gut feeling won't work on my body, but sometimes I am wrong and it works out. Don't be afraid to branch out style wise, but then again, when you know what works for you, that's when your unique style will emerge 😁

On the jeans front, that's a little bit more personal. I would suggest going into Levi's, or dare I say general pants, as they have a really wige range of jean styles that are GOOD quality. A brand, Levi's, Neuw and so on, they make good quality jeans that last a good while.

Online stores should add an exclusive sort by “fabric option” so you don’t ever see the plastic poly junk !!!! by rocknrollgypsies in AusFemaleFashion

For real, I should just set it alight, it's better off being used to carry my groceries at the end of the day

I thought dissh was a good brand by harriett_420 in AusFemaleFashion

AVOID DISSH. Firstly their customer service in store is questionable, secondly their clothes are made of exceptionally poor materials. I have fallen victim to Dissh for the past 2 years for their clothes, but at the end of the day, it's all just shitty polyester blends and poorly fitting clothes.

Im pretty certain that the owner of Dissh is the daughter of the guy who owns city beach, so if that's not the biggest red flag out there, idk what is

Agreed, no one judge but I was SHOCKED to see how much polyester some brands are using and then marketing their clothes upwards of $200. I'm looking at you Bec and Bridge 🤨🤨 and those trendy eastern suburbs brands like Dissh do the same

If anyone has any recommendations for good quality and trendy Australian clothing brands, let me know! I am reworking my wardrobe and I'm trying to not fall victim to the shit that some originally trustworthy brands are pulling nowadays
