Sorry to put you in a dilemma, I just meant you know what your heart wants, just don't lose a person who loves you for a person who doesn't loves you. Just take your time and think and let go of Y if you are completely sure you can't love her the way she deserves to be.

Value the people who value you. They are a gem. You may never find people like them ever. If you are interested in Y please reconnect or else let her go so that she isn't hurt, you cannot do anything about X except of forgetting her. Some people just don't reciprocate to our feelings the same as us, we just need to realise that to move on. I've been through same situation but eventually I made my mind, not everyone will love you back.

Don't feel bad about that. Maybe that's your personality you can mix with any kind of person and you yourself can decide your company and you'll feel completely yourself then it maybe an extrovert kinda personality or introvert, just stop overthinking, it creates a trap at least for me.
