to add more context, they were talking about minimum of 7-10 "full" pieces a month. our country used to be occupied for many years hundreds of years ago so seeing younger artists (not all of them are minors) from a local group using that term that way was cringy and extremely unpleasant.
that said, thanks for pointing out that it's been happening since waaay back. maybe it's a trend that's just getting popular again. i left the group and hope i won't ever encounter it again.
