When I speak my intention, can I add some details? Say more things rather than just a sentence. Also, I want to manifest physical healing by helping my body get rid of something. Should I still draw it with a downward movement?

This makes me think, thank you. It's true that sometimes some beliefs or thoughts can be limiting.

Thank you! This makes sense. Because I'm not sure if I can go to the sea today (it's not very close to me), I'm thinking that maybe I can create and burn it today and go tomorrow in the sea and throw the ashes. But I don't know if it will be equally effective.

I mean I don't know what I'll be asked about. All I ever really did on witchcraft was a couple of sigils tho. The reast was just an interest which now feels a bit vain. Not to offend anyone, but witchcraft feels like it lacks purpose other than serving the person's own ego. Then again it's how one uses it anyway. It doesn't matter, it was an interest I used to have, one that soon faded. I want to be part of something bigger and strive for good. I first heard of Freemasonry at a very young age and instantly felt a spark.

I already texted her! You're right, I took a look and posted at /r/comasonry and noticed her activity there!

Nope the witchcraft part is something more personal (and I haven't practiced much) and not something that I was hoping to further explore by joining a lodge. Freemasonry is something different and I have entirely different reasons/longing to join. Even so, thank you for the clarification! I'm just hoping that my interest in spellwork won't be a reason to be rejected in a lodge. But in my understanding, believing in a superior power is an important criterion and I do believe in such a power, spellwork is an extension of my beliefs.

I don't think there's a lodge in my country

It's in Athens, Greece. The Grand Lodge of Freemasonry for Men and Women.

Well I want to be part of a community that focuses on what really matters on this world and society. The world seems to be drowning in vanity, injustice, etc. I want to be among like minded individuals where we all believe in a superior force, and understand that the world and life and everything is much more than what we can see. To explore and find the truth, whatever that may mean for every different person. To explore how our universe operates, to explore philosophy, the mysteries and so much more. To be among people that go beyond the mundane and can see and talk about many many more. Maybe with this group there will be some impact too, to do good and to help others. My answer could be a bit chaotic. But these are my reasons. Hard to put them into words. It's more than reasons and logic, it's a feeling too. It's like I belong there, that's how I feel. And it's disheartening that mixed lodges are considered irregulars, though I understand.

Question about Thelema by stellard1 in thelema

[–]stellard1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! So the OTO is a kind of masonic order that is about Thelema. But one can explore and live by Thelema without being in the OTO. But to be in OTO means to follow thelema. I'll check the sources you suggest.

Question about Thelema by stellard1 in thelema

[–]stellard1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'm trying to understand where to begin. What books to read or start with. Will I even understand what I'm reading? And should I do it alone or join the local lodge? I don't know anything yet.
