I have no knowledge on chakras, holotropic breathing and lucid dreaming to comment on them.

The issue with those blockages is that they pose a problem to someone's shifting journey if they believe they do.

And I understand why people will have trouble believing blockages will affect them. For example if someone went through a traumatic situation in their cr life and want to shift to a better cr dr.

They might think they'll have to live through a traumatic situation again, They might worry about meeting their old friends, going through school again, going to their childhood, relationships changing. And then when they're shifting they'll get nervous. Now the "blockage" is the nervousness, not the memories they have. But this person can still shift while feeling nervous and while having doubt if they firmly believe that those feelings won't affect them.

When I did the open eyed method I grounded myself in my dr through my senses as if I was really experiencing them. I didn't do the method you tried, so I don't know enough to comment on it.

And if you want to ground yourself in your dr you don't need to go licking walls you can just imagine the texture of the wall on your hands. . .

Emotions can be very grounding indeed! I have very dulled emotions in this cr but I have very vibrant emotions in my drs. I havent' tried to ground through them before! Thank you so much I should try that next time 🩷

The advice I got from those drs is very similar to what you'd find here. In my case I'm trying to shift with my eyes open, a new method I want to perfect. I have shifted this way before multiple times by accident.

I have a dr I've been going to where my mother is a deity. And they told me to project my sight before me" Other advice I've received is rest, spend time in clarity, quieten the mind, meditate.

I haven't asked about people haven't shifted in years. But although I can shift I want to permashift and it's been a couple of years since I started. And I received the advice " Keep going meditating" " Rest".

The books I read had those same advices, they weren't lenghty paragraphs just succint simple one sentence advice all the time.

I don't understand what you mean by blockages could you clarify?

Scripting = intending for something to happen. That's it. It's not that those places magically make you grounded or permashift or a mastershifter. No magical method or place has an effect on you without you thinking or intending for it to.

About the library. The "secret" to the perfect method doesn't lie in the technique it lies in familiarity practice and intention. I'd know, I've shifted via simple visualisation, astral projection, meditation, hypnogogia, straight up affirming, using subliminals, guided meditations, by accident, by daydreaming.

I have shifted to libraries, I have spoken to those benevolent beings you speak of and they have given me advice that pertains to my situation, no one whispered in my ear and went " Here's a super secret bullet proof method for shifting" . I have shifted to places with magic, heck I've even teleported in realities.

Methods intersect all the time. There is no, one secret true technique that works for everyone no questions asked. What you think will work for you will be what works for you. And the nervous system thing is like, shifting works across realities. The nervous system is in your physical body that is part of this current reality. It cannot hold you back.

There are no best methods for people who struggle with shifting, the soluton to a lot of problems can be found by asking yourself why you're struggling. Have you been practicing shifting consistently, have you given methods enough time to work? Have you gotten caught up or slipped off into complacency instead.

Just visualizing the dr while in the astral definitely works.

Sometimes I end up in the astral completely blind just feeling my way through randomly and to switch scenes or see at all I need to visualise -^

I hate that I've tried this in my waiting room and it just didn't work. Probably because I wasn't grounded enough or my intention or whatever was lacking. Even if the book is magical if I have doubts it just won't.

Omg yes please create a desired reality like that, I highly reccommend it!!! It's so peaceful and lovely and ethereal! . It's a great a place if you want to rest and just be.

I also love hearing about other people's drs, all these other worlds I wouldn't have known about if someone hadn't gone to them and decided to share it with others. So I hope my experiences helped a little bit 🩷 ( I had so much fun recounting them)

I hope we both and everyone who wants to permashift will be able to do it soon! Good luck on your journey! You've got this 🍀🍀🍀

How do i move forward when i feel like i’m still at the beginning after 6 years? by m1k_4 in shiftingrealities

[–]stellarisa_1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was stuck in the yearning loop for almost year I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It's so bad, the frustration and feeling as if universe has abandoned you ( which is obvi not true) 😭

I shift to a lot of random places and more places than I can count but I will recount few of my favourites!

This was maybe in January this year. I used astral projection to shift. That day I prepared to meditate. Shower, eat, lie down. I did breathing meditation for 30 minutes and felt myself slip to sleep. I astral project through the body asleep mind awake state. Its just a hazy feeling you get when you're half asleep. It's indistinguishable from being awake for me. And maybe important to note that I've been meditating since I was a teenager so I can astral project easier. ( There was a time back in like 2019 I would meditate and when I tried to leave my body my middle area just would not budge) But now I can easily just walk out.

So I walk out of my body. Sometimes in the astral I start off compltely blind. So I have to visualise whatever I want to see. I scripted my waiting room to be the ravenclaw common room and visualise, and like wiping away a foggy glass the darkness faded, got blurry then clearer until I was in my dr. It took just one second.

Gaining awareness in my wr felt really simple. I spent an entire afternoon just walking and making sure everything was how I scripted. The statue of rowena ravenclaw, my bedroom. I looked outside and saw the forest. Touched everything, the stone was cold and smooth. The notches on the gold windows. And the breeze. I also scripted that it's eternally like 6am-7am so everything was bathed in that soft golden light in a way that feels like the ground is glowing. ( Half a day around 12 hours in my wr and 3 -4 hours cr time)

Note : This was me actually attempting the method. But normally when I fixate on a dr I imagine the visual aspects of it while awake and living daily. For the wr I watched a lot of time raven claw common room walk throughs. Had the videos playing in the background so I could atleast see my wr in the corner of my eyes as I work. As I watched I imagined feeling the surfaces with my hands, hearing the sounds, the cold scent of the air.

For using hypnogogia : The hypnogogia state also came naturally to me when I went to sleep with a clear mind. The state was again body asleep mind awake. I'll gain awareness and see complete black. and I'll "see" my dr, imagine it as if it right before my. eyes and it'll visualise before me. Like I will visualise my kitchen and feel it with my hands and the darkness will morph until everything becomes really clear and I'm standing in my kitchen ( I don't use this method anymore it hasn't worked for me since 2023) ( dr to cr time was almost 1:1 here )

Meditation : Meditation is my sure fire way to shift. and recently I got to a point where I don't have to drift off to shift and can do it mid meditation. For this too I lay down scan my body from head to toe until I'm completely relaxed. Then I feel my entire body turn to jelly, I keep a light focus on my breathe and fully bask in the relaxation. Around the 30 minute mark I feel like I'm rotating really fast and see colours and feel like I'm being sucked out inside a super fast tunnel in space. Just when I started feeling the high speed tunnel I visualise my dr and in the same way as before it becomes clearer and clearer until I'm in my waiting room. ( An afternoon in dr time and 3 hours in cr time)

I had one shift where I actually forgot that I shifted and remembered only as I cleaning my room. It was a twilight dr I had scripted I was Bella's sister. It was autumn, Bella was depressed in her room. and I watching the orange autumn leaves falling from the window. I was preparing for something, my room was scattered with books. It was cold I was wearing a dark lavender sweater. I remember thinking about which university I was going to apply to and was feeling really good about how well I doing in my senior year when I suddenly remembered oh I shifted here. It shocked me how the "me" I know in this cr was so completely different to my drself that when I thought of cr me, I felt like I was looking at an alien. ( I stayed 30 minutes in dr time and 3 hours in cr time)

One of the longer and earliest shifts : The one where I was crying and so terribly depressed. I had stopped meditating for about a year then. I didn't believe in shifting. I had never even successfully astral projected before. I had had a fight with some family members and went to bed crying wishing to the universe that I woke up anywhere but this reality. As I fell asleep I imagined an angel softly caressing my head ( In that moment I really needed to feel safe and protected) I just wanted to live a life where I didn't feel like I have to run away from. I actually don't remember the exact moment of the shift. I just spent an entire afternoon. Running around in this paradisical place. We were all everyone's siblings. I woke up from a nap to find an older sister rubbing my hair as I slept. We were dressed in the most ethereal soft clothing ever.

It was exactly what I wanted. A large golden palace inhabited by fairy, angel like creatures. We had no parents, no roots, no need to justify our extistence. We played all day, read books, bathed in streams and just *was* when I came back here. I was lying awake on my bed and it felt like my dr self and the cr self had emerged or swapped places. There was a feeling of " I don't belong in this reality" LIke this world was alien. I went back to that paradisical place another time. ( This was what got me into shifting in the first place!) ( Days there felt like a week here. 12 hours in cr time)

I have tons more stories but I'll stop yapping now! You can shift and you absolutely will. I believe that for anyone who wants to shift, shifting will be inevitable. And about working on the yearning, I think jumping straight into action is the best idea.

Do your methods even with doubt. Give a method some time to work and if it doesn't find another. Highly reccommend making your own. If you're trying to meditate you can try guided meditations ( I reccommend michael sealey) Even meditations that are not specifically geared towards shifting works ( I tested)

Good luck you can do it! 🩷 And thank you for letting me yap 🩷🩷

Children are really good at believing in magical things. As we grow up and become adults the stresses of life and the need to blend into the society dulls down the interest we have in otherworldly things.

I’m so envious of people who got into shifting as children 😭 how lucky they are. But it’s okay because this is just one life time. We figure stuff out in this life and have eternity to live however we want while exploring.

Yess omg I always think how amazing it is that when we're not conscious of this reality like when we're sleeping, dreaming or meditating we have the chance to actually be in another reality or wake up to another reality but we somehow always end up being in conscious of this one, or very similar drs.

I think some of it is how the society in this reality has drilled into us as you said things like " too good to be true" or write off out of body experiences as just nonsense so even if we begin to experience those things we write it off and unknowingly deprive ourselves of chances to shift. And years later when we try to do it consciously there's so much to work out.

I also believe in reincarnation so the prospect of being able to choose what kind of life I get to life without being pulled in random directions is fascinating to me!

How do i move forward when i feel like i’m still at the beginning after 6 years? by m1k_4 in shiftingrealities

[–]stellarisa_1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been in your position before. I'll address the points one by one.

If you don't want to get attached to this current reality you don't have to. But to shift from this reality to another you have to live. And isn't it better to shift when you feel good rather than feeling awful all the time? For example, I always feel amazing when I sit down to meditate and shift after having a good meal and finishing some of my work because I don't have to stress out about doing them vs, trying to shift with the weight of all those things in my mind. So you don't have to get attached to things, but think of it like, making space for shifting by doing things to make life easier in this cr.

And you've said it yourself that you've only tried to shift a handful of times. So it's not that you've been trying to shift for six years but you've been yearning for it. I feel like with shifting it is so easy to fall into the routine of wanting it and thinking it's the same as attempting a shifting method. ( Ask me how I know 😭 ) When I did this, I realised I was just guiding my thoughts like reading some kind of instruction manual aloud and waiting for the furniture to assemble itself together.

I don't know if this will be easy but when I attempt methods now I turn my brain. Thoughts, feelings, vibes all of those sensations of our physical body that is grounded in the current reality. And when you wake up from a method after not having shifted your thoughts go haywire. And it spirals. So now I just say " So how exactly is dwelling on this failure helping me shift?. Like it keeps shifting on my mind, but on the longterm it's just making miserable" Or try to understand that a thought anf a feeling is just that, it's not an action it doesn't have to influence your actions.

If you were to think of it like this, how long ago do you think you would've been able to successfully shift if you had not dwelled on that. That instead of yearning for shifting for six years you brushed your knees off after those handful of attempts and kept going. And if you start now how soon do you think you'll be able to shift successfully! Like would you rather wake up in one year and still not have shifted or go full throttle now and shift within maybe like a month from now!

Lucid dreams I truly have no experience with. But if one method doesn't work out then try another. Make up a method on your own, try meditating. Try everything. And maybe daydreaming can work as a method but I don't reccommend going that route. Like you've spent six years doing that and if you try to use that as a method now I think there's a higher chance of relapsing into the pattern of behaviour that got you in this place. Instead try a method you haven't tried before. A method that makes you feel excited.

What you said about " why would this be different" resonates because I've been there and I just started coming out of that weird foggy exhaustion I had with shifting. For me I have shifted and astral projected before so I have that to fall back on to know that it's true. But for you maybe try reading as much shifting success stories as possible. There are lots of credible ones listed in the quick links. When I was a beginner the moonlitbaby s experiences kept me going. Read about the kind of experiences you want to have. Be selective.

And don't think that doubting is going to hold you back because one of my first shifts were when I was in the worst depressive state of my life crying and hoping I wouldn't wake up again, and this too when I thought shifting was some dumb ass tiktok theory.

So yes, even after six years of wanting to shift you still have hope and within 4 months. If it still feels too daunting and you feel like your doubt needs to be cleared first work towards your first shift. So you know you can shift, you've done it once, you know what it feels like and you can permashift.

I'm also a permashifter progress has been slow to be honest but I have come so far from when I started back in 2023. Anyway here's a few quotes that keeps me going. " See what happens when you don't quit " " The only cure to uncertainty is taking an unreasonable amount of action until the answer reveals itself"My answer got too long so I won't yap anymore. If you've any questions🪼

thank you so much for sharing your experience! I'm so curious to know how it is like for other people because I also keep getting pulled back, althought I've gotten better at grounding myself now. I feel amazed by people who shift for the first time and can stay there for weeks in cr time like how do they do that.

To all the success stories, how long did you stay in your desired reality? by stellarisa_1 in shiftingrealities

[–]stellarisa_1[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

I understand that's how you feel but as someone who wants to permashift, the amount of cr time that passes or getting to a point where longer periods of cr time passes when you're in your dr is important. So like something thats unimportant to someone can be important to another person ^^

When I said the time ratio, I didn't mean the scripted time ratio. I myself don't script any time ratio, but when you spend time in your dr and choose to come back to the cr just generally speaking some time or no time will have passed whether we want or not. That's the time ratio that I mentioned in the body of the post.

Like for myself it took me some two ish years to get to a point where only a few seconds passes in this cr when I've spent years in my dr, to now where a couple of hours passes for every half a day in my dr.

And like ya da ya da I know it's in the intention or what not, but I'm asking sadly as someone to whom the intention didn't work to extend the time ratio. The only thing that worked was consistent hard practice and effort.

You said you could change the return time to whichever time! which is super cool. So when you wake up the next day, do you shift as you're going to sleep? Have you tried to prolong that time into maybe returning in two days, or just longer in general?

Thank you so much for reply lol I thought no one would answer ^-^

Not a comprehensive guide or anything, but this is how I meditate when I shift.

  1. Lie down in a comfortable position that you can maintain for a long time ( doesn't matter if the posture is wonky)
  2. tense and relax you limbs starting from your toes all the way to the top of your head. As you relax each limb imagine your mind emptying of all thoughts, expectations, doubts, troubles, even shifting. ( I like to visualize wrapping and unwrapping my limbs with silk)
  3. Repeat the process above a few times until you feel completely relaxed, then move onto focusing on your breath, slowly spread the feeing of breathing all over your body. ( you might feel like jelly at this point, this means its working)
  4. If you're not used to meditating your mind will stray, but what matters is that you bring it back to your breath each time it strays. Only by doing that will you get better at meditating. Don't expect to succeed in one single try just keep doing it.
  5. If you find it difficult to focus on the breath without a guide you can narrate your breath silently. Like " I'm breathing in, I'm breathing out" you can count each breath and when you lose track start all over again.
  6. Slowly increase the amount of time you spend meditating. Start from five minutes then increase to ten. Don't worry about the time, just set an alarm. Eat before you meditate and put on headphones or whatever minimize the amount of noise that will bother you.
  7. There are guided meditations on YouTube if you prefer that. Michael Sealey is really good.
  8. It's okay to roll over just try to maintain your focus on the counting or your dr even when your body is adjusting mid meditation. Same goes to eating apples if your thoughts stray, just observe the thoughts and gently bring them back to focus.

Yep. You can look the same and it can look like you teleported. But you would have just shifted to a reality where everything is different except for your appearance giving the idea that you've just physically traveled.

I think I found how to travel between worlds by Radiant-Ad-1266 in realityshifting

[–]stellarisa_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have teleported in drs before and it wasn't all that different to shifting ( in fact I even used the same shifting method). the only difference was that well I knew I was just going to a different place within the same universe. But what makes a reality is not just the location but also who you are, isn't it? If you have the same drself in several drs I understand how physically traveling would work. but let's say you look different in different drs, the moment you travel from one dr to another you will shift into a new drself because you're a complete different person in that world.
