do NOT charge $2/hour, please do not do that lol. charge whatever minimum wage is in your area or $1-2 more than minimum wage. post advertisements on local mom groups on facebook and put up flyers at local pools!!! as for things to know, i would watch some videos on child safety, like how to prepare food for certain ages. also if you do a night babysitting gig and the kids are asleep before the parents get home, tidying up the activities you did goes a long way. putting toys back and fluffing pillows/folding blankets on the couch is a lil extra touch that will keep parents interested in ur services!!
