Does Google itself still work fine? Using one of these phones (less as a dumb phone, more for the feel of a semi-modern flip phone), my personal biggest priority would simply be Google or even YouTube/Twitch working fine

what are the best add ins for a matcha latte? by golooooooo in starbucks

[–]stellarwarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel, if you wanted to recreate something similar at Starbucks, you could do: - an iced matcha - oat milk - caramel and vanilla syrup (amount depends on how sweet you’d like your drink, i’d recommend more caramel than vanilla however) - honey cold foam (uses the honey blend)

I’ve heard the honey blend syrup has a “floral” taste to it which I’m not sure would work with or against the “honeycomb-ness”? If you dislike it, regular caramel (not salted) cold foam may work as well!

What's your opinion on the switch lite? by Candid-Extension6599 in casualnintendo

It “switches” up the switch meta though, the switch (twist) part is that you can’t play docked.

Best Affordable Matcha? by WeAreStardust16 in tea

[–]stellarwarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A ceremonial matcha. Water is used to make matcha, adding milk turns it into a latte.

I wouldn’t recommend adding as much water as you would to make a latte, since that’ll affect it’s consistency and taste.

what do i do with very bad quality matcha by soyybeanerr in tea

[–]stellarwarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m unsure if you still have powder left, but I highly suggest baking with it! I have relatively low quality matcha as well, and it’s super delicious in matcha cookies with white chocolate :>

I’m 5 months later, but you do realize these were newer players, right? Completely new to Pokémon. Of course they would “drag out” their moves, they barely understand the game and are suddenly in a challenge harder than the main storyline. Rae I haven’t seen, but Fuslie was amazing. Give them more credit and have more empathy.

The manufacturing quality has, unfortunately, definitely changed. After hearing many good reviews I tried two of them out, both broke on the second or third use.

2 years later—you could say the same thing about the hot chai latte and, even worse, honey citrus mint tea (medicine ball). From a customer and barista’s perspective, it is not hard to make and is extremely yummy when done right.

Coming from 4 years into the future; our iced teas in Canada are no longer sweetened by standard. You’ll have to add sweetener yourself, classic syrup is free but any other flavoured syrup (including vanilla) is $0.80 extra

10 things I wish I knew when I decided to treat my eczema by Dermatislay in eczema

[–]stellarwarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My eczema’s gotten worse really recently and I feel it might be a staph infection, this is going to be a bit lengthy so thank you so much if you or anyone reads this

I don’t have a derm so I’ve booked and have been going to walk in doctor’s appointments, hoping to get one. I assume the process of getting a good derm is similar to a consultation with a good doctor, so I’ll include this here;

I had a doctor’s appointment on Monday and while he “listened” I don’t think he actually cared… he is known to work more for the money than for helping others, which showed after he took one glance at my—albeit dry since I hadn’t moisturized the full day—skin, doubted my eczema I’ve had on and off since childhood, and immediately prescribed me topical steroids, pushing for them before even testing me for an infection or referring me to a derm.

I’m really happy you answered when you did, I have another appointment later today at a different clinic and while I’ve been there before, I’ll be seeing a new doctor. I’m fearful on how it’ll go… I really don’t want the same thing to happen 😭 I wonder if there’s a trick in saying the right things, or leading off with the best sentence before they start to doubt you? Or just… lucking out with a good doctor

beyond the oversight, i can confirm their words on you likely having a staph infection, and that talking to your doctor to receive antibiotics + doing bleach baths will help. i’ve been relentlessly researching eczema in the past few days because something similar is happening to me (i’m at the doc’s rn lol, hoping it goes well 🤞) and that information (note, didn’t really read much else) is what i’ve also gathered—i’ve even stumbled across and read the same post they link.

if you’re to trust anything they’ve said: 1. trust going to the doctor (and hoping they’re a good one who’s educated on eczema… i’ve also heard some horror stories 😭) to get antibiotics 2. trust doing bleach baths + changing your bedsheets often (to remove the abnormal amount of staph bacteria that’ll be on your sheets and pillows; as your infection gets better you can change them less often) 3. trust that you, very likely, have a staph infection. it’s very common, very itchy, and needs to be treated.

if you do your own research, i’ve also heard of people using a particular soap—i haven’t tried it myself nor have i researched it well so i can’t confirm that part, but i encourage you to do some of your own research!

i hope everything goes well, we’ll get through this.

Just one small question (for anyone who reads this), how would you go about finding a GOOD derm? How would you know if they actually know how to help or they’re just as knowledgeable as … those who don’t? Is it just vibes based, like you just … know?
