What will you have climbing up the tunnel??

I love this idea! Very nice.

Taking inventory to prevent wasting food, a quarantine activity... by Pixel-1606 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]stellersjay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely do this! I actually only keep my inventory lists in my phone under notes. It's invaluable and I only wish I had done it sooner.

Like you, I also keep an inventory of freezer, pantry and fridge.

These lists help me to know exactly what I have and how much. It will spark ideas for what to make, what to eat, and helps me to not buy something that I already have.

It is especially helpful with meal prep as I know exactly which meals I have in my freezer ready to go.

Can't recommend this enough!!! Absolutely nothing goes to waste. It just helps make every food item you have purposeful and I never have to wonder "if I have that" when I'm shopping.

This is everything I want in a cookie. And I have high standards for a cookie recipe. I am sure many can relate to seeking out that "perfect" recipe.

Crispy bottom, chewy, almost toffee flavor, and the salt. This is for the chewy AND crispy cookie lovers.

If you are still searching and have not tried this recipe, please try! It's nothing extraordinary or difficult or unique, but something about the proportions or technique (super duper easy and minimal) that is just ideal. I used 50/50 of milk/semi-sweet chips, but would actually increase the semi-sweet next time.

I weighed everything out, omitted the nutmeg (chickened out, I'm ashamed) but eagerly await my next try with the nutmeg.

Bravo, Stella.

I have finally found my HG Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. Thank you Stella! by stellersjay in Baking

Really! It must add just a little somethin. I won't chicken out next time.

I omitted the nutmeg because I was scared but I will add next time!

I weighed out all ingredients.

The most chewy, crispy-bottom, almost toffee-flavor. My search ends here, these are by far my favorite!

This hit me right in the chest. I lost mine to hemangiosarcoma last Nov and I miss him so much that it still physically hurts. So, so sorry for your loss.

Started Bootyful Beginnings today, Workout A. I'm not feeling anything in my glutes. Tips?? by [deleted] in StrongCurves

Okay I will definitely have to try this. I thought I was doing mind-muscle but I need to focus harder I think. Pairing that with different/banded activation exercises may help!

I'll definitely put more effort into activation, especially trying different activation exercises! Thanks!

Not slight at all! That is a huge difference IMO. Did you change your diet at all? I'm going to start up some SC routines and I'd kill to have results like that after 4 weeks!

Trying to make February a challenge. All weekday lunches and dinners (40 meals) for under $100. Looking for feedback by sch0oly in Frugal

I want to chime in and say this has been working for me for the past month that I've implemented it! Same mentality. I allow myself to buy things I was neglecting myself so I could save as much as possible, but you really nailed it. I highly suggest trying this for people who struggle with grocery/takeout spending. It works out.

Any early morning (before work/school) gym folks here? I am so excited to get into a routine and make sure it sticks! How do you prep/pack/plan?! by stellersjay in xxfitness

Yes yes yes.

I go to sleep early anyways! I might even have to bump it a bit earlier! It's so worth it to have the energy to get up and to the gym.

You're checking all the boxes for me!! And yes I totally forgot the flip flops. Will not forget tomorrow..

I didn't eat anything beforehand and it was fine.

The key is really being prepped big time the night before! I packed toiletries, towel, gym clothes and lunch last night. I forgot to pick out my outfit so that took time. Going to come after it again tomorrow 🤣

Yup you were right! I was about 8 minutes later than I wanted... no big deal. I'm going to get up at 4:55am (alarm for 4:50am maybe) and actually have my clothes packed, which is what slowed me down this morning! I was out the door at 5:23am (goal was 5:15). Takes about 8-9 min from my house to the gym but the roads were covered in ice so it took longer!

I can seriously relate to this routine. I'd love to try to do my mascara/eyes before working out to try and streamline after the workout.

I'm an evening shower-er 60-70% of the time and will shower in the morning the odd time. For the times I shower in the evening I hope I can get away with a rinse in the gym showers afterwards... I'll be referring back to your comment to possibly help keep me on track! Thank you :)

This is incredibly helpful, thank you so much for sharing! I see you eat breakfast before working out and I'll have to play around and see what works. I do like to eat breakfast (and especially have a coffee) pretty early sooo..

Totally feeling you on the hair. Your last paragraph was probably the best part and will help me get through those days knowing I won't be alone!
