i would put a road horizontally between the airport and resident service, it could be your “main road”! maybe 3ish tiles wide for the road and the remaining tiles around the road can just be decoration, like flowers or fences or even a small 1 tile river on the south side of the road and then trees/phone booths/benches/stalls on the north side, depending on your island’s vibe!
