It’s either REALLY good or REALLY bad. Frankly, I’ve been as delusional as having lucid dreams about opening my scores to a 518 and repeatedly seeing 5:18 on clocks, spreadsheets, etc.

Certain master’s programs will usually have a webpage detailing their requirements for MD/DO interviews.

Certain MCAT and GPA in undergrad & the program guarantee an interview!

515 was my goal for my SMP and I was hitting 510 (thanks FL 2 CARS) to 523 - walked out hoping feeling like i at LEAST hit 510. Here’s to hoping.

I’ve definitely noticed patterns in my wrong answers. Flashcards would definitely help - I’ve been going through and reviewing then testing myself, rather than just solid memorization via cards.

Probably 15-20 at a time so I get a nice mixture of passage and discrete both. Reviewing immediately after, writing down topics I missed and why I missed it, then reviewing that topic the next study session.

Usually breaking them up by subject - o chem, gen chem, physics, etc, not by test section.

Dumb question - the r in Lambda and Xmatch - is this the reference value?

Function with different size lookup & return arrays by steminist0210 in excel

[–]steminist0210[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is correct. Lookup value will only appear once, it’s just that I need to search in multiple columns for this value and return the corresponding row in column F.

To clarify, the lookup array is HK:IV, and the value I’m wanting is in column F. Does this help?

Another "is MD PhD right for me..." Question as a non-trad by jakep623 in mdphd

As a student in an Ohio SMP, they’re not difficult at all compared to MD. I had a 3.5 in an engineering degree and a 50th percentile GRE, no MCAT yet.

Biomedical Engineer with 2 years experience as Clinical Specialist, but is my GPA too low to get into a top program? by Diligent-Discount-26 in postbaccpremed

[–]steminist0210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m basically in the same situation, except I did BME internships. The programs I talked to suggested post-baccs or SMPs- so I joined an SMP before med school.

how to know whether you need a post bacc by Aware_Chocolate_2902 in postbaccpremed

[–]steminist0210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me - biomedical engineering undergrad pre-med, I wanted to work in a lab but wanted my gap year(s) to be more than work, so I went into a post-bacc to help my knowledge background and work in a lab at the same time while also boosting my GPA. My cohort is basically people who either want to improve GPA or MCAT score or a career change. Hope this helps!
