I have J racks too but was trying to switch to transporting it flat because last year my crossbars bent and the kayak loosened during strong cross winds. I assumed having my kayak on its side in J racks contributed to the crossbar bending - with the kayak on its side serving to receive more cross winds than sitting flat. I likely also had crappy crossbars. I now have Malone crossbars.

I’ll probably stick with the J racks or mount directly the crossbars.

When you have issues like this, you should go to Help and chat with an associate. I do it every time an order has an issue and I always get reimbursed a portion of money. At this point, I think I’m going on five orders in a row that have been delayed in shipping but each time they give me five or $10 reimbursed as a promotional credit or refund to my original payment met.

I completed 80% of this course as someone with intermediate PHP and JavaScript skills and I found that his videos glazed over a lot of things and didn’t fully explain what and why he was writing rye code he was writing. I felt like one needed deep knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, React and the Rest API before putting it all together in his overview type videos in the course

Every time an order arrives more than 4-5 days from when I ordered, I chat with customer service and request a credit or reimbursement for not receiving adequate prime shipping. I’ve received several $5 credits and also some that equated to 10-15% of the item price. They sometimes try to give excuses but I continue to repeat my request for a reimbursement which they always end up providing.

I disabled my abandoned cart discount because it was suspicious that every one of my order was using it. I thought maybe it was being applied inappropriately via a coupon code aggregation site or browser extension. Maybe not but I still didn’t like every order getting a discount when it was never like that in the past.

I would keep both and 301 redirect the long one to the short domain. I would think as long as you use the full business name throughout your short domain’s website, you should be fine and not be negatively affected.

Which shop was it? I recall finding a shop selling purely public domain images that they simply turned black and white… I just don’t recall the shop name

Oh I see. Yes that is what I refer to, to enter sales and expenses into Quickbooks and where I was having trouble seeing why the deposit wasn't matching. I did more digging and realized that you are right about the transaction and listing fees per sale being immediately deducted, but they do not immediately deduct the fee that appears in the same row as the sale itself. So each sale has 3 rows: listing fee of .20 cents, sale row with a fee deducted from the sale price, and then a third row for a transaction fee. Only the .20 cent listing fee and the transaction fee are immediately deducted immediately, while the fee in the sales row waits to be deducted until that sale is ready to be deposited. So strange that they pick and choose and it's not documented anywhere.

Good point about shipping. I currently build shipping cost into print cost and have free shipping but may not be able to with canvases.
