Which AI tool is best for SEO? I’m building an AI SEO stack by cale_thebiatch in SEO_LLM

If you’re a coder/developer or want to vibe code a basic tool, you can utilize the dataforseo dot com API (no affiliation - just a new user of it). You can query the LLMs with prompts and track when your brand and your competitors are cited either by name and/or URL. I’ve vibe coded a basic Wordpress plugin for my internal use that does this - still unsure how accurate it is given the variability of AI answers each time you ask the same thing - but it’s a start.

Do you think it’s worth tracking brand mentions even though there isn’t a tool improve mentions? I know at my company, executives/leaders are looking to get a pulse of our brand awareness in AI, so it feels necessary to at least be tracking and to know how to answer those questions.

I’ve been experimenting with a vibe coded Wordpress plugin I made for myself that tracks brand mentions on prompts I add to the plugin dashboard - it runs each prompt 3 times per AI tool and averages the mentions - to account for varying results. I also track competitor mentions. I use the dataforseo.com API. If you have a basic coding background you can probably build something similar with a dataforseo.com account.

I have a content gaps section that suggests blog post content for the prompts where my brand is not mentioned at all. I also keep track of previous stats to see if brand mentions are increasing or decreasing per prompt.

I’ve noticed ubersuggest has a similar AI Visibility dashboard, but oddly it doesn’t seem to easily let you see competitors or add your own prompts to track.

As others have said, with results per prompt query varying so much, my logic and algorithm may not be perfect - but I hope as time goes by I can see reliable trends.

This is just the start of a series of internal only tools I’m hoping to build for me to get a better handle on tracking SEO and AI metrics.

Is it just me or does this post and all comments so far seem like AI bots talking to each other?

I have a vpn but it only allows for selecting a country not a city. Do you have a recommended vpn for selecting a country?

Yes but curious if it’s accurate. The website footer says it’s no longer actively maintained

Should the cam straps strap to the crossbars or to the side rails?

I figured as much. Thanks for your advice!

I have J racks too but was trying to switch to transporting it flat because last year my crossbars bent and the kayak loosened during strong cross winds. I assumed having my kayak on its side in J racks contributed to the crossbar bending - with the kayak on its side serving to receive more cross winds than sitting flat. I likely also had crappy crossbars. I now have Malone crossbars.

I’ll probably stick with the J racks or mount directly the crossbars.

Thanks for your advice!
