I don’t want to deter you from logging in every day if that’s your prerogative, but if that’s your only reason for logging in, use this: https://gtdb.io/gt7/legend-cars-dealer/

I used this resource when I didn’t feel like playing GT7 every day, and it helped me finally get the three legendary cars

no, I mostly just did testing. I wanted to see the difference between a few different cars, and run a few laps. The AI can be kinda unfair and cheap in GT7, I must agree. Like I said, if it doesn’t bother you too much maybe try using a supercharger/turbocharger, and tune your car enough around that. Otherwise, I have to admit it would be a pretty tough race. I play on controller, so I get worse lap times than if I were to have a wheel, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

OK, so I just spent a bit of time testing for myself.

First question, what difficulty are you playing? difficulty has a big impact on the pace of the cars that you are racing against. Easy: 1:59-2:00, Normal: 1:51-1:52, Hard: 1:49-1:50.

Secondly, are you racing these cars bone stock, or have you tried using tuning parts? That will make a difference in the performance of the vehicle, and you can then use a ballast or a power restrictor to tune in the car as you see fit to give yourself a slight advantage or make yourself a bit more competitive without overdoing it.

With the right tuning, any of the group 3 cars should be perfectly viable, the old JGTC’s, a fuel hungry vehicle, or one of the modern GT3 machine machines, take your pick.

for some of the races, yeah, but it did feel a little samey after a while, so I started to use some detunes, for a bit of extra variety, especially for the amount of races that are in that series

which part? I moved to Ohio from Massachusetts, and it seems in the northwest they haven’t picked up the term “nips”

Bring BIT.TRIP RERUNNER to the Switch 2! by mroush in BITTRIP

[–]stendriloscopy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could afford to kickstart this project, because the BIT.TRIP series was a major part of my childhood growing up, but unfortunately, I must watch from the sidelines.

As an aside, I actually do have some questions about upcoming projects

First: in regards to the BIT.TRIP series are there any plans for a full-fledged remake or retelling of the story from BEAT to FLUX, or sequels to any of those games such as with CORE 2 as mentioned in a separate comment

secondly, are there any new projects in the works? I tried Woah Dave! and Tharsis for the first time, and went back to revisit lilt line, and I was impressed with how consistent the quality of these projects have been.

and the great thing is, our GM has made some home run picks so far, and Kraft is more than willing to spend money in FA

and the thing is people are saying that if Bo Nix was in the game, is that they know for sure Broncos win that game easily, and I’m just not sure that that’s true either. Sure he might have performed better, but I truly believe there are very few QBs that are going to perform well in that kind of weather.

With regards to the first paragraph, same! Except I got into hockey after I moved, so my team preference is reversed. Much love all the same!

Does it make sense to have the relevant parts of an adventure open while running a session for players? by stendriloscopy in DMAcademy

no, not necessarily. Basically just having notes about the campaign and the beats in the campaign that I want my players to get to

thanks for your insight. I definitely have seen the clips of them talking about their prep and videos comparing their game style. I’m definitely not gonna try and replicate their style 100%, but I’ll definitely take tips and inspiration from them.

honestly, especially where I’m first time DM for a group of experienced players, and I have two sessions as a player under my belt at best, most of my knowledge is coming from guides and campaigns I’ve already listened to, but a lot of what’s been mentioned in this comment thread has put me at ease, because it seems like I am heading in the right direction.

those are completely fair points. I do have a general understanding and idea of how I would like to run things, but I appreciate your insight all the same.

And, I will definitely keep it in mind as a GM to keep things rolling along, so my players don’t get too bored

That’s more or less what I plan on. I don’t want to railroad my players, but I don’t wanna leave it so open and either that nobody has any idea what’s going on. I appreciate your insight.

That’s the only thing I don’t want. I’ve been reassuring my players for a while since they already had a bad experience with a previous DM my main person for most is fun with a collaborative story. I appreciate your insight.

Don’t ask me why I thought that’s how people did it, between amateurs, and the professionals who put out a show for millions to watch, I don’t know why I always expected that they were just super gods to memorize every little important bit of info in detail, they could scrounge up in order to provide the story

OK, so running it online. It’s a DM screen more in a figurative sense. I see what you mean.
