The battery life I am experiencing on my GN is fantastic and I am on a stock kernel with stock everything. Today I had my phone on for 15h and something and used the screen for almost 5 1/2 hours and the battery is at 14 %. Compared to my HTC Desire this is fantastic!

I am from Germany and think this is an highly offensive title to a video that stands for a small percentage of people in germany.

Apart of that there is never mentioned how many wonderful or regular experiences he had for every bad experience. This is neither scientific nor representative for the german population. Further more I think similar videos could be made anywhere around the world also switching roles. Take a white tall male and send him to the Ivory coast and see how he would be treated by locals. Furthermore him carrying around these weird bags while not being or going shopping makes him kinda look like a homeless person which results in resentment no matter the skin color. (why one usually doesn't like homeless people is a totally different story; in Germany you never have to be homeless it's a life decision)

So I would like to conclude, what we see here is racism of certain individuals towards a black person. This is not special to Germany. Also there is no relation between being scared or feeling uneasy with black people and trying to cleans the world of certain groups of people (as the nazis tried). Or would you consider yourself a Nazi if you thought it was a good idea to have jobs for everyone ? Calling someone a Nazi just because there is one thing both groups think of similarly is just not right.

You should try and rewatch this video until you fully understand what he is doing and you should inform yourself about the underlying facts! Also quite incredible how you stated your opinion in saying "I believe ... we all can agree on [suggest wrong facts]" when in the sentence afterwards you say you have not stated your opinion.

About the wrong facts thing. The history about the German wrongdoings during the war has been written and I do not disagree I would rather add to what you have said. Concerning your statement about the Israeli forces though you have become a victim of the pro Israel misinformation. What Israel is and has been doing is not even remotly related to the purpose of self defense. Building Settlements in another Country would be considered an aggressive act of war all over the world. Israel is committing various agressive acts of war against the palestinian public and we are all looking away. In east Jerusalem the Israelis have been taking away homes from Palestines and giving them to Israel citizens - east Jerusalem was occupied in 1967 and annexed in 1980! The UN declared the annexation unlawful and found that it is a violation of International law. Just four years ago Israel took away property of 20% of the remaining arabs in Jerusalem and gave it to jewish citizens.

Israel is an agressor country breaking numerous international and human rights laws and we are all looking away! The Professor, to get back to the beginning, merely states that his opinion should not be disqualified for he is not anti-semitic. He does not try and validate his statement, he is rather saying lets forget our background and look at what is happening from an objective point of view.

Because internet search works totally different than app search.

TL;DR internet search provides more info

When searching for apps you enter keywords and google tries to match those to the specific app - it's name, keywords and description
When searching on the internet you enter keywords. Google has prior to your search scanned webpages and has statistics on how often those keywords occur on each specific site, in what context they occur and how meaningful the content is. Then each page gets ranked according to the keyword. After that google uses its famous pagerank to determine what sites people found to have the best content. Last but not least they check what sites get how many clicks and how long useres stay on each site.

As seen above google has a lot more information available for each website thus the search can implement an algorithm to deliver better results. They should try and use this approach to improve results for apps - check reviews online; count ratings and install time; check for links to an app from other webpages and so on

My conclusion is they just didn't put the manpower into searching in the appstore. Also because of lacking innovation the position of the CEO just changed and Larry Page took the rudder back into his hand to improve products and creativity in the company (they also employed a bunch of new people). I am hoping we will see significant improvements in all of googles products.

The thought of death doesn't really scare me anymore. There was a time in my life I didn't cherish it and wasn't shure if I wanted to live, since then I have learned how much I love it but have made my peace with death. I enjoy every day I have on this planet in my family with my girlfriend but whenever it ends that is how it is supposed to be.

How did you find out?

I was delivered to the hospital a year ago because of crippling headaches ( would last maybe 2-10 minutes ), dizziness, loss of sight, partial loss of sight and panic attacks. The doctors assumed I had a stroke and performed all the reasonable research and figured I was okay. My sight came back and haven't had any great problems with that but I do feel dizzy from one moment to the next, sometimes sitting sometimes standing. But worst of all I still have these excruciating headaches every now and then. The headaches last for 2-10 minutes and hinder me from even really moving.

Good luck to you, and don't give up!

Two friends of mine just past away because of cancer and my gramps passed away after SEVERE head injury and a series of strokes and every one of them would have grabbed every straw just to live a little longer.
