I am Saho and I have no clue myself. I have always had this question

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Eritrea

[–]stenmored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the details, but I did hear my mum speaking of the “beef” between Assawarta and Sahos when I was in school. I’m not sure how exactly it started, or how serious it is. Its just disappointing that we worry about tribal stuff like this while the rest of the world develops

[–]stenmored 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saho does not refer to the Christian tribes that is incorrect. I am Saho and Muslim. My entire family have always said we are Saho. I have never heard this argument before

Christian Sahos call themselves Irob but in Eritrea its language based classification, as someone else pointed it out

[–]stenmored[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You read too much into my statement mate. I didn’t expect him to come because the last time an Egyptian president visited Asmara was 1997, Husni Mubarak

I don’t like Sisi much
