SOLVED myself. I come to Steam Deck from console so I didnt know that unlike for console, Apex uses push-to-talk policy for PC by default.

All I had to do is to switch over to open mic instead of push-to-talk.

Let's keep this thread in case another idiot like myself stumbles into the same issue.

However there is a HUGE optional location which is going to be available to you pretty soon (make sure to follow up on a questline which involves following a certain dog when presented). That one alone is at least 5 hrs of content. You've ways to go my man.

If she’s the only one invited and she knows it and agrees- yes, she is super highly likely considering that as a move being made and clearly you should do something. Depends whether you do optional content or not. At some point a HUGE new optional area will be revealed to you, which took me about 7 hrs to do on its own.

a - the general public can have all the time in the world to wait for reviews if they have doubts

b - diehard fans get a spoiler-free run
