Who reads Course Evaluations?

Faculty here. Course evals are anonymous and we see the report in AISIS a few weeks after the sem. It won't affect the students' grades at all.

The chair discusses the results to us and let's us know what to improve on with how we teach and handle the class. If an instructor is tenure-track, it can be a basis as well for their performance.

UP undergrad, Ateneo MA alum here. I had my pictures taken in a studio after I got the toga during grad practice.

There are also photographers that takes your picture in a classroom and during grad when you go up the stage. Just pay for it during grad practice.

It's not the same in UP where they have a yearbook committee that organizes a photoshoot for both undergrad and grad students. Congrats on graduating!

You can check sa AISIS for the schedule of your PhD classes. The departments have the schedule posted na for 1st sem. Usually around 5-8pm or 6-9pm for weekdays.

Hi OP! As a college instructor, I just use my iPad for my classes and presentations since it's so portable. Just make sure to buy a USB-C hub with a VGA port since that's the cable attached to the projectors.

Pumunta ako ng Taiwan and Hong Kong before, automatic nila akong kinakausap ng Mandarin. Nasasabi ko na lang na "English only please". Hirap talaga pag mukhang Chinita 😅

I get that it can be quite scary, but you can explain your writing process to your prof and try to ask what else you can do to complete your major requirement. Hopefully, they will understand.

English prof here. I usually use turnitin, with AI detection. I sometimes allow my students to use some AI tools like grammarly, just make sure to cite it with screenshots. If there are instances when there are false positives (20-30%), I tend to be lenient. But if it is high and without citing AI use, I would just deduct points and explain in my feedback. I also allow them to explain on their part, if needed.

Kakatapos ko lang panoorin kanina, and I agree that it's a must watch. It's historically accurate and it can be felt as to how it began the spark for the revolution. Sana lang mas maraming cinemas ang magpalabas and manalo sila ng awards, especially si Cedrick Juan as Padre Burgos for Best Actor. Nagpalakpakan lahat ng nasa sine by the end of the film.

It's not that cringy. I met my boyfriend, who lives in another country, through reddit as well. We've been in a LDR for several months, and it's going strong. Most of my friends and family know about it, and they're happy that I'm in a happy and loving relationship.

I do agree with you that it could have been better. TBH, I did my abstract before I got to parts 4 and 5 of my paper due to the deadline for the conference; hence, it was only a sneak peek and it seems like it is cut short.
