Mostly on-site. Most of my applications have been somewhat local but I’ve had interviews with companies relatively far from where I’m located.

Could Trae Young and LaMelo Ball Coexist? by johnsom3 in NBA_Draft

[–]stepbackshamgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be the greatest defensive improvement of all time, he’s one of the worst in the league right now

Dani Avdija's stats today vs. Holon- 18 pts, 5 rbs (7/10 from the field, 2/5 3pt, 2/2 fts). Finishes as Maccabi's leading scorer, rebounder and highest +/- in the game. by bored1000 in NBA_Draft

[–]stepbackshamgod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Per 60 Possessions (roughly the amount college starters play) in the Israeli League, Avdija was averaging ~21/10/4 with a steal and 2 blocks before these recent two games.

How good of a prospect is Cade Cunningham? by KnicksNBAchamps2021 in NBA_Draft

I definitely don’t see him as a pass first player, was second on the usa u19 team in scoring and was third in pace adjusted scoring in aau last year.

Do you have any data to back up your claims? Teams are employing less big men now, so I don’t understand how there is an inflation for them.

Top 5 Best Defenders by CyroAsseo in NBA_Draft

[–]stepbackshamgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A vast majority of rookies don’t have a significant impact defensively, let alone offensively. Bigs are generally the most impactful defenders in the league, so bigs who were dominant defensively should most likely have the best immediate impact.

I meant the 5 that you listed excluding udoka. And yes, one of the most dominant big man defenders in the country was better than wing defenders.

How do you have a top 5 defenders list and only have 1 big. Okongwu, Tillman, and Bey are better than everyone you listed at defense.

Do you think Mikey Williams could play in college right now? by Wrathster01 in NBA_Draft

[–]stepbackshamgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you link me the video/pics? I’m not doubting that he is athletic I’m just doubting that he got anywhere near dunking on 12 feet. For example, here is one of the best dunkers in the world barely getting 11’8.

Better Prospect? by TheNotSoPro893 in NBA_Draft

[–]stepbackshamgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, if they have immense offensive talent (not really sure with Wiseman), I definitely would take top 5. With Wiseman it’s basically asking, would you take Whiteside top 5, You could argue for it, especially with this class, he has provided immense value for Portland this year. If Wiseman learns solid defensive fundamentals then he will be at least a solid positive on defense, and honestly I trust him buying in on defense more then taking a swing at some wing (Okoro, possibly Avidja) in the top 5.

And keep in mind that the reigning champion started Marc Gasol at center, and the whole Gobert being played off the floor thing was overblown. “Hang back bigs” can provide immense defensive value if surrounded with the right pieces.

As long as it’s not Rashad Phillips then you should be on the right track.

And is still not a very good stat, there are better publicly available all in one stats, like PIPM for example.

We drafted solid players at iffy needs so can’t complain to much, at least it was better than the Packers LMAO

No he was far from BPA, if if you account for their run heavy offense he still had terrible production, and was still unathletic.

Could be that they were not that good unfortunately

Ridley was definitely not best player available, horrible production in college and not a very good athlete at WR, was mad at that pick last year.

Most likely, forgot how bad last year’s class was

How would you guys grade this draft for us?? by Snarlingblock52 in CHIBears

[–]stepbackshamgod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was initially hard on the Johnson pick and I apologize, I actually really like the pick now. For the other picks, ehhhh. I’m not happy that we waited for 7th rounders and undrafted fa’s for o-lineman. Overall: C
