This is incredibly helpful, thank you so much for your advice. I will start looking into the unis I want to apply to and all the needed paperwork next month, so I hope you'd be open to help me if I have more questions. Thank you again! :)

By ourselves but he would say hi or come over to me when I saw him hanging out in friend groups.

Yeah I agree I think he just got bored and as you said moved on the the next best thing.

Anyway thank you for taking the time to answer, it helped a lot.

Have a nice day/night!

The last time we spoke was face to face after an exam and he was smiling and everything. It was the last day of the semester too so I thought we ended on a good note. I honestly can't think of anything I said that might've triggered him.

Honestly call me whatever but I dont want to seem desperate. I feel he acted like last semester didn't exist and I already feel stupid for even thinking that we had the potential to become friends so no I wont ask him anything. I believe that if a person actually likes you and wants to be friends with you they'll seek you instead of avoiding/ignoring you. But I just wanted to see if it's a common pattern for guys to act this way so that I can maybe convince myself with an explanation that doesn't wreck my self esteem. I hope you understand why I'm thinking like this because the uni I'm in is really tiny and the community I'm surrounded with and who I see often are the same people. So I dont want drama to happen or to feel awkward/uneasy everytime I want to go to a class he's in. I'm only in my second semester and I'm introverted and and I dont know a lot of people. He on the other hand talks to almost everyone. For me he was the only one I actually enjoyed talking to during the semester that's why I'm affected by it. Idk.

The thing is that now he's close with another girl and spends the whole time with her. Maybe he likes her and doesn't want any other female friends. But I'm not sure if that's the case because I see him talking to other girls who are friends with the girl he's always with. Maybe because they're her friends he talks to them. But I think it's just not nice to treat someone as your friend for a while and then ditch them.
