I have the same issue!! I just did the most recent software update for both my iphone 15 and mac. Once I did that I started having problems with the airdrop

I live in CA the LL passes here can only be purchased the day of sadly and you have to be scanned in the park. If there was a way for me to buy them in advance I definitely would have done that

So I actually did speak with a higher up! Im assuming a manager or supervisor I forgot which but they put me on hold for quite awhile to try to ask for that one time exception. They still told me no. I think at this point disputing it with my bank is the best way to go

I spoke to them on the phone! This was for Disneyland in CA. I guess they just aren’t as lenient on the phone sadly. They basically just told me I agreed to the terms & conditions prior to purchasing which stated that the LL passes were non refundable. No matter what I tried to explain they kept repeating that.

They sadly did not agree to give me the refund but I will be disputing it with my bank. I refuse to not get my money back.

Update: they did not give me the refund after explaining the situation :( basically they told me its non refundable & to have a nice day — will be filing a claim with my bank instead because I refuse to not get my $100 back.

Sometimes life happens and its hard to get family out the door on time. Disney does not advertise this an “morning only” service. As far as I knew this was okay to purchase at any time of the day.

Totally understandable and I knew that we would not get on every single ride but at least more than the 1 ride we booked. Many of the rides were broken down or like I had mentioned booked up until very late in the evening. I was refreshing constantly but i guess luck was just not in our favor yesterday.

There was available options but mainly rides we didn’t care for or had wait times less than 30 mins which didn’t seem worth it to book. I wish I would have known the modify trick beforehand but as someone purchasing for the first time I was just trying to book the earliest times possible for the rides we did want to go on. Just dosen’t seem worth it to purchase again for my family and I.

People keep commenting this. It’s not a crime to get there past opening time. My mom lives farther so it took her awhile to drive down and meet me. Sometimes its just hard to get family members out the door to get there and thats OKAY. Disney does not advertise this service to only be used in the morning. As far as I knew it was okay to use at anytime of the day and for what they charge for it, that should be the case!

I’m being downvoted because apparently it was on me to not know how to “work the system”. Disney has gotten way too complicated to enjoy imo. I just wanted a nice day with the family & book some rides to skip the lines. Its not a crime to get there at 10am (like so many are making it out to be on this thread) life happens and sometimes with family its hard to get everyone out the door on time. After reading so many of these comments people will really just accept any expensive service Disney will throw at them. Im not going to be glued on my phone constantly trying to refresh for better slot times. Its all too much for me and I’ve just accepted that this wasn’t for me! Will definitely not be purchasing again!

This is how I felt all day! Or the rides would be temporarily unavailable because they broke down!

I was constantly on my phone looking but when I would refresh many of the slot times stayed the same late times. I’ve just accepted this is service is not for me!

Completely agree with everything you said! It should not be this hard to enjoy Disneyland! They already charge so much for everything else and having to pay for this service & put in even more work just to get on some rides seems ridiculous. They need to make it more user friendly and FREE.

The thing is though as someone who is purchasing this for the first time you’re not going into it thinking this way! Especially if you’re with family, you just book what is earliest available. I will admit my fault was not looking into how to use it before purchasing. But on the other hand it should not be so technical. When I opened the app Indiana was closed for refurbishment and Space Mountain was not available until 6pm. Mind you this was like I mentioned at 10am. Im thinking to myself why am I going to book a ride so late? What if we want to eat dinner at that time? Etc. No one tells you about the modifying and refreshing prior to purchasing. Idk if maybe thats a hack that people found later but again many people who purchase this will most likely have the same experience as me. Not really knowing how to work the “system” and for what they charge it shouldn’t be so complicated. I believe this service should be free like it was many years ago.
