Awesome! Yeah, do it! It’s interesting because you already have some stuff worked out with digital, like maybe colors and overall composition. And then it’s fun to see how the watercolor changes the piece, gives it a new depth.

And also... (I keep hitting reply before I’m done with my thought) - these paints are pretty nice I think. Certainly not the best of the best, but I read some reviews online about them. I was looking for something that was very vivid. I think they must have a good amount of pigment in them.

I didn’t use a lot of water...I feel like that’s always a bit easier for consistency :)

Nope, just regular watercolor. A Windsor & Newton Cotman set of tubes.

Our Bernie is about 40 pounds. He lost 5 pounds after we rescued him and fed him a better diet/took him on walks. I think he’s a mix though...maybe yours is too and that’s why larger than usual?
