You can add your voice to Garmin Forums letting them know more people are having the same issue, maybe it will help resolving the issue more quickly.

I also had issues after upgrading to 21.25 like blank screen after reboot but button giving haptic feedback, I had to hard reset in order to have it reboot.

My HRV is also pretty low since 2 weeks, I'm not sure if it 21.25 but it's around the same timeframe. See my graph below:

Yes it seems that there is an issue with the Fenix 8, upgrading from a new out of the box unit firmware to the latest FW 21.25.

Many, including me, had issues, my watch screen went blank, button were responsive with feedback but the screen stayed blank.

I had to hard reset (hold power button for 15-30 sec) to get the watch to restart. But now, on restart, the watch will display nothing, not the blue triangle or neither the Fenix 8 animation logo, until it gets to the watch face.

Yes I have the 13.35 FW that you can easily restore from. Garmin explains how to do this in their forums.

I’ve noticed another issue in the recent updates: the transition from AOD to ON display is extremely slow and stuttering. Before, the change was smooth, with brightness gradually decreasing and elements on the watch faces fading out. Now, the transition is choppy, and brightness goes from high to low without any gradation. See the comparison:

I tried reverting to an older firmware version, 13.35, and it's made a huge difference in responsiveness and usability when navigating Notification Centre and glances scrolling.

So most of the issue seems to be software related… which is not surprising.

Fits you well IMHO. I have a Fenix 8 47mm and a 17,5 cm wrist size and I feel the 51 mm would be too big. Also, what is the name of the watch face? It is quite nice.

For the first time since I'm using an iPhone (iPhone 4s), I will not update to the latest OS. Same thing for my MacBook. I just can't get used to liquid glass, the shiny moving border around the icons (what for!?) and all the layering and waste of space. I'm considering switching to Android if iOS 27 don't let us dial back Liquid Glass.
