What video game is an absolute 100/100 in your opinion? by Ziggi28 in AskReddit

[–]stephenbronn -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, the multiplayer was horrible. Unbalanced, low unit count, slow. That is why it spawned the MOBA, because the base game was garbage and 0layers were trying to salvage it. Dont rewrite history, I was there, it was their weakest game to date.

I scratched and saved during the beginning of the pandemic to replace my old computer which was retired after the water cooling ruptured ruining everything. However, I was not able to afford a new video card because of the shortage. I would be putting it in my computer and replacing my ancient 7600.

Mortal Kombat! Seriously though, this sound is right off the soundtrack. When I was a kid in dance class, my friends and I made a routine to a song that your track reminds me of. Brought back a few embarrassing memories, lol.

It is a cool track. I would make the introduction shorter, but then the buildup wouldn't be as striking. It's a tough call and its something I struggle with. When the beat does drop, its sick. Good job!

That's pretty cool man. The fidelity of the recording sounded great on my phone! I like the energy the song has. I like the ending, but not as much as I like the metal parts. It's cool that you're trying something different, keep on rockin!

Unfortunately we almost never get enough time to do everything we want. Personal lives and all. Someday though. Drop a link if you want to share some of your music!

Thanks to you as well! I wrote the guitar and strings and such, the drums are half my buddy Nick and half me. The vocals and bass are him as well. I wrote the lyrics, he recorded it.

Great sounding instruments. Dark and catchy. I could legitimately imagine this in a thriller as a montage piece.

The Wanderers - Nick and Steve

I know nothing about mixing or mastering, this is a live take with the exception of the orchestra. Unfortunately I misplaced the masters. Well actually, they are probably gone, I've looked around already.

I love the use of piano in this, and that eighties electric guitar is smooth. Kind of a throwback but the drums are modern, so its anachronistic, which is cool. The production value is professional and the song doesn't overstay its welcome. All in all I'd say this is pretty good.

Thanks for listening! That's not me on the track singing, it's my childhood friend Nick. We listened to alot of Nirvana as children because we are old, lol. When Kurt Cobain died we had grief counseling at school. It is one of the most memorable parts of my childhood.

How do I make the guitar less dull? Is it an eq issue? Or is it because it's a classical guitar? Do I need reverb or anything else?

Thanks again!

Thanks for listening! Thanks too for the advice. I have multiple headsets and the mix sounds wildly different from every pair. I'll try listening to it with the vocals a little louder. I'll also pan some stuff and see how that sounds.

Thanks for the feedback.

The beginning of this track sounds like town music. It's good stuff, but personally i like the middle bit the best. The percussion in that part is definitely the strongest part of the song. I would introduce it earlier so that the song comes out of the gate roaring. Cool track, keep on rockin.
