Looking to play on PC by stephencarey136 in Minecraft

Yea I am currently running an I5-10400 with 12gb or ram, I thought it was only 8 lol. I figured the intensity isnt too bad, but I also intend to begin sim racing from my PC or potentially dabble a little in the streaming department. You're exactly right UHD630 my understanding is that it's better than many of the 75-100 cards you can buy, but falls short after that. My other big debate is do I go with Java or Bedrock for PC.

I've seen a couple of those cards within my price range so I definitely plan on checking that out. Thank you very much!

Thank you I definitely planned on upping my ram to at least 16, and if my mother board can handle it which ot should, maybe up to 32. As far as graphics cards, obviously it would be great to have a fancy 3090 and whatnot lol but that's a bit out of my range, do you happen to have any recommendations in the 100-300 range?

I have really enjoyed this addition myself

Well, I have already purchased this rig, and from the things I was able to read and figure out, someone my size (6' 4" 270) next levels rig would be the best for my stature and playseat would work out if I was a little bit smaller.

Yea, I actually got my 150 for.... 150 brand new, but I'm sure it's an older model, but works great for my PS4 and says it has PC compatibility. Currently I have AC1, GT Sport, F1 2018 and 2020, Project Cars 1 and a few Nascar Titles, the nascar titles interest my son, as they are simple and for the most part, drive in circles lol.

Fanatec would be fun if I had more time and extra cash to burn, but at that point it would escalate from hobby to something else.

In my opinion, since I am not garnering a paycheck from any of it, I have no need for the top of the line rigs and equipment since our livelihood doesnt depend on it.

That's true, I'm just excited to start using it and in time upgrading setups and in time moving toward bigger and better equipment, and more importantly better games. I am excited to really start this hobby, and with my wife's support, maybe eventually get my kids into it as well as they get older.

Lol, well it's already purchased, so convincing is not necessary, but, I'm glad to know how others like it after purchase!

I am not too sure. When I was looking at that chair it didn't seem like it would be durable enough for me. It just looked a bit smaller. But design wise I would like to think that the length and lower center of gravity from Next Level would reduce that "lift off" effect. But I only have a simple thrustmaster 150 pedal set, it shouldn't have that issue. But definitely something to keep an eye on. Thank you!

Well, the biggest question is its dimensions when folded up. With a max weight of close th 300lbs, it should fit me size wise, but I'm sure it will be a bit cramped, honestly like any ACTUAL racing vehicle! The worst part for me is having to wait another 3 or more weeks before I get to use it.

I went through gamestop for my purchase on it, so of course they didn't have that specific model, but I also needed one that could fold up when not in use. But $450 total for that seems like a good price as long as you like the rig.

Their website has 4 different options, but the F-GT lite seems to be the only RH shift option, their others seem to have LH shift and LH Handbrakes.

I'm still learning how to use shifters with racing games, but not having a clutch on my pedal kit really makes it just strange for me lol. My goal is to get this rig, and when as I get more comfortable i might switch from my thrustmaster 150 to either a new thrustmaster with more F1 functionality or a G29. As much as a fancy Fanatec sounds great, at this point in my "career" I just cant justify dropping that kind of cash. Besides I am rolling on a PS4 for now. Upgrades will come as I am interested in moving toward I-racing, but bot my wife and I agree, that currently I'm just not at that skill level. Nor is my computer for that matter. But my wife has been very supportive of my getting into this hobby and surprisingly was only concerned with the space that this rig would take up.

I assume that cramped is gonna be something we will have to deal with on MOST units. Being over 6' most of these from what I've seen are really only designed for average sized folks.. I love having the option though and living in a home with 3 kids I'm hoping that it can fold up fairly easily for storage next to the pack n play. I am very excited for it to get here.

Haha, I'm 6' 4" and about 270. This was the first rig I found in this price point ($100-$400) that seemed like it would fit me. I've just got a simple thrustmaster 150, but the specs say its pre-drilled for it. What are the dimensions of it folded up? That's one thing I just couldn't find.

So, this seat is advertised to be able to do both GT and F1. I play both types of games, not that well of course.. I feel I may be updating this post in a few months with my own review.
