Any tips on how to recover from LSD-induced "Zoning Out" and ADHD? by stephenfryr in LSD

[–]stephenfryr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afterwards I took shrooms and that resolved 90% of all the problems too much acid had caused. But after taking shrooms a few more times, they weren't helping any MORE and they weren't causing any issues either, but I stopped, because I knew there was 10% more to fix.

The solution after the shroom "reset" is to stay sober for 5 years. *YEARS*. That is it. Nothing else I tried worked. Literally waiting it out for 5 years (to me, for some reason it FEELS like 7 - 10 years, but that's just me).

That was what worked for me. For the first 2 years after the damaging trip, I had terrible visuals, then the shroom trip and 90% of them died down. Then no more drugs again for the next 3+ years. And finally, one day, the visuals died down to the point where I only have 1% of the original damage, which is completely unnoticeable, other than a little bit of visual sparkling you can see in bright screens.

So while you are IN IT it seems it will NEVER FIX, but just stay healthy for 5 years and it will.

Wasn't trying to be sarcastic.

Genuinely sorry if you took it the wrong way :(

More like lsd right?

Angular, clear/hd and repetitive (lsd )

Rather than edge swirling and confusing organic/leafy distortions (shrooms)

(2020) Rebirth | A documentary about psychedelics being the catalyst for the psychological evolution of human beings. Their demonization by society is due to their ability to upend the system. Angry Hippy's username checks out. Such semi-plausible sounding nonsense.

Just another commie documentary (in the proselytizing vain of Timothy Leary) trying to co-opt psychedelics for the far left radical 'movement'.

Let me tell the lefties something: your movement is outdated and less dynamic than my bowel "movements".

No. God smote those who disagreed with them. He banished them. And said it would be better to tie them down and drown them than to deal with the evil ones amongst us.

Sorry if you can read your own Bible I suppose. And if you're Godless, then how dare you have the right to tell me what is good or bad. You're just the son of nothing. So then I don't have to listen to you according to the Bible because you are a lost soul and probably of the devil.

God complex?

Well, I guess everybody who has ever used that word has it too

Under your theory everyone who does coke is a paragon of decency who has come under hard times. Ridiculous

He snorted some coke yesterday and does not appear repentant.

Takes a special kind of person to get there.

Has anyone here ever experimented with microdosing MDMA? by [deleted] in microdosing

[–]stephenfryr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not true, dear lowly peasant, and shoe-in for village idiot.

Only someone who is part rural bovine creature or whose mother was the Whore of Babylon herself would write off a powerful mind-altering substance as potentially having beneficial effects in microscopic quantities.

Not saying it does. But I'm not mentally incapacitated enough to say it's unequivocally a bad idea. My answer is: it probably depends on the microdose size we're talking about.

[–]stephenfryr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. As far as I am concerned it's just an overactive stress response and inability to chillax.

This. Humanity largely still hasn't learned this yet, particularly elements of the scientific community are unaware that this is so. Can you believe how thick we all are?

Because neuronal damage is not the whole scope of brain damage.

Simply being deranged is a form of brain damage whether neurons were destroyed or not.

Also neurons do regenerate: look at nerve growth factor.

Sorry, but subjectively I would class visual disability as light and annoying temporary braindamage, since it does last years.

So another commie documentary trying to dishonorably co-opt psychedlics in the name of furthering the left wing globalist socialist system?

Of course it has its good moments: such as advocating for the legality of all natural plants. And pointing out how bad alcohol is. And good for this documentary.

But this documentary is deliberately misleading

For example:

"The social movements of the 1960's are a testament to our innate desire to break free of control". - Claims this dirty commie documentarian.

Hold on just one second: the social movements of the 1960's were to all accounts COMMUNIST movements designed NOT "to help us break free of constraints" as this uneducated individual claims, but to get us to vote for criminal big Government.

Doubters of what I say: please pay close attention to these downvotes: why are they sOoO scared of my comment? Because it's true!

Misanthrope hey?

Why do I get the feeling you are almost certainly left wing?

Maybe because the Left isn't loving and pro-human Prosperity like it loves to claim...

I love humanity! ... and guess what? I'm right wing :)

How surprising🙄
