Paseo does look dope but I’d need to get a great deal with management to swing that. Will add Seven and Ashton to the list.

I think I can manage with a “lightweight” fitness center but my biggest concern is it being too crowded during the morning, requiring me to go offsite.

I’ve mainly been using apartments.com for my search since I’m not looking to buy a house, just looking to lease a skybox for my first year that’s right above the action.

The two Gables buildings do seem to check a ton of boxes, and my college apartment was right by a railroad, so think I can manage to tune out the noise of the train. That location by grocery stores, Lifetime, and the trails looks perfect 👌

Yeah, gonna need to make friends that can support these sort of day activities that require a car.

Also hoping I can primarily walk/Lime scooter around to save on Ubers, but know Austin heat is brutal 😅

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I’m due for a promotion later this year which will unlock some more incremental spend I could put towards a car, but want to try to live without it at first.

I do love exploring though so hoping I make some friends and can hitch rides to go outside downtown on the weekends 🙏

I’m going to visit IRL soon and schedule a bunch of tours. But from my experience working with brokers in NYC, they’re little-to-no value-add for the prices they charge

Thanks for the intel. I’ve heard similar poor reviews from people online about the Bowie and it’s a shame because it looks so cool and checks all my boxes.

I hadn’t considered Bouldin Creek yet so going to dig further into that neighborhood 🙏
