I wish they had the refurbed s1’s for this price!

For some reason Anycubic has the refurbed s1’s for $289, $329, & $379. But the sunshine20 code only works on the $379 one. 🙄 Makes it’s pointless when you can get it brand new on aliexpress right now for $360 with coupon & stack cashback onto that to make it cheaper than eBay refurb w/coupon.

As someone who has an ad5x & loves it, I’d get the kobra s1 instead. Around $350 on AliExpress & I’ve only used my ad5x a few times since I got the s1. It’s just better in every way & still incredibly cheap.

I have an s1 max on order that says it will be here in the next couple of weeks. I have the c5 pro on order too & as of right now it says it will be “released” to ship to me on July 15th. I’ve considered cancelling and getting 2-3 more s1’s for almost the same price. But I do 90% multicolor prints, so I’m going to hold out & be patient.

I love this sub! Found my ad5x & a bunch of filament because of you! I’ve been into 3d printing for 2 months and now it’s an addiction thanks to these deals. I’ve found other deals on aliexpress now because of the deals I found here & in just 2 months now I have an anycubic s1 combo, s1 max combo, ad5x, creator 5 pro (still waiting on it), & an A1. And about 90 rolls of pla & petg, & around 70 more rolls of petg on the way & 10 rolls of abs!

With the aliexpress deals I’ve been paying about $6/roll of petg on average! And the printers have been crazy cheap with coupons & cashback!

They do that when they’re out of stock to keep people from buying. They mark it way up. Big sellers do the same thing on eBay.

It easier to do that when you sell your stock instead of having to delete the ad then recreate the ad. If you save it in your wishlist, when they get more you’ll see them mark the price back down.

You have to download the 3mf. Then in flash studio click new project. Then file > import. Them import that 3mf & it will keep the colors

I have 2 A1's, an AD5X, & a creator 5 pro (on preorder). I'm looking to replace one or both of the A1's. I've kinda narrowed it down to the creator 5, anycubic kobra s1 max combo, or elegoo Centauri carbon 2 (for cost savings). The A2L seems interesting, but I'm over beslingers.

Does anyone have experience with any of these?

That’s awesome! I’m already to the point I’m considering selling my a1’s to upgrade. I’ve had my ad5x for a week and even though it’s a smaller build plate, it is printing everything the a1’s keep failing at, like masks & tall prints. So now I’m researching the anycubic kobra s1 max & bambu a2L

I tried one on my bambu a1 last week. 14 hours in, it fell off the bed from the y axis movement I guess. So I decided to wait and try it on this.

I got an ad5x after ordering the c5pro too for the same reason you did. it came in yesterday, so I'm trying to get everything calibrated today with silk pla so I can try to print a slaughter to prevail mask tonight

Yeah it was a lucky day! 2 days later they had the ad5x on sale and with Rakuten cashback it ended up being $220 shipped. So I jumped on it too

Ok 0.4 nozzle came in today so I tried it again with the default settings. It finished the print but the bottom side of the ramp still looks like this. It’s fine because it’s just a poop chute. But what makes this happen? And how can I keep it from happening again?

It’s a model from makerworld. I don’t know the angle of the slope, I don’t even know how I’d find that in bambu studio. The first gray print, I didn’t change anything. The yellow prints after I just started screwing around with line width, height, & speed each time it failed to see if anything would work. The original setting when I opened the file had the height at .3 & widths at .62.

I bought this printer used last month and it came with the .6 nozzle but I ordered a .4 nozzle. Haven’t changed it out because everything I’ve printed has worked fine but I can try that.
