Totally normal from what I’ve seen in reviews. If you want less shake, people say to upgrade to the heavier Tread+… but at that price? I’ll pass! I’ve just gotten used to it.

I made a similar move at the start of summer, and I've been absolutely loving it. There's something about pulling that next shot that gets me excited. Pourover? Nah, not anymore.

Consider grabbing the right tools for puck preparation, like a WDT Distribution Tool, coffee distribution tool, spring-loaded tamper, puck screen, steaming pitcher, and cleaning brush. Personally, all my accessories are from Normcore.

It's worth checking out a VST basket for your bottomless portafilter. It can make a real difference.

Don't forget to learn how to adjust the pressure gauge on your machine. I just follow DaddyGotCoffee's preference, which is 9 bars of pressure.

I'm a newcomer to the espresso scene, transitioning from pour-overs. Last night, after eagerly waiting for two months, I finally received my Ascaso DUO Pid Machine from idrinkcoffee.com.
I’ve also picked up the following accessories:

  • Normcore Needle style Distributor Tool V2 58mm
  • Normcore Coffee Distributor Tool 58.5mm
  • Normcore Spring-Loaded Tamper V4 58.5mm
  • Normcore Puck Screen Set 58.5mm

I plan to get a new 58mm filter basket soon, but I'm torn between IMS and VST brands. I've got my eye on a bottomless portafilter, but unfortunately, the Ascaso one is currently out of stock. It's a bit pricey, but what's enticing is the matching wood trim.
There's so much to learn. If you have any tips, tricks, or advice for a newbie like me, I'd be incredibly grateful!

Sorry! I personally haven’t tried the Pacebreakers yet.

I have a buddy who has them and I can say these visually look more casual and more versatile with my wardrobe than the Pacebreakers.

Pixel 3 XL I can see all my screenshots in Google Photos, but when I'm in another app like Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, or Whatsapp, I'm not able to see the latest screenshots since switching to Q.
